It's flimsy, any slight wind will take it , but for a sun shade it's great. Only complaint is you can't "spin" the shade, you have to reorient the clamp. But, still glad I bought it, invaluable working in the sun on the tractor. Read more

It's a little flimsy when the wind blows, but it most definitely cuts down the temperature!! It easily attaches to my daughter's wheelchair. Read more
The media could not be loaded. Supervising a production facility roof replacement is a long and drawn out process. This is made worse by the extreme heat that usually associates itself with any roof work. I have found my G4Free to be indispensable. Although I’ve only had it a week, I am rather impressed with it. The underside of it is opaque on the brightest of days, and I can perceive no radiant heat coming through it. However, the deciding factor was the overall portability and ease of transport. Yes, there are larger portable sunshades available, but they are three times heavier and at least that much more bulky. The build quality seems sturdy enough for its philosophy of use. It comes with a robust clamp that I have yet to have a problem with. And it’s also very adjustable. So much so that I have yet to be unable to position it where I wish. Just know that it suffers the same inherent frailty that all umbrellas do, and that reasonable care should be taken when using it. For example, don’t get out of your chair at that soccer game and leave the sunshade open. Close it, and slide the protective sleeve over it just in case. Any wind at all can turn it, and the chair it’s attached to over in the blink of an eye and wreck your sunshade. As a sidenote, I feel that the little bit extra you pay for the XL version of this is well worth it. Read more

Nice shade umbrella but I find the clamp not very strong of vertical. So I dont use it very often. Umbrella shade is good quality though except the clamp. I bought it for my boat. Read more

The plastic snapped on the first use while adjusting this. I was trying to adjust the flexible bit in the middle and this literally just snapped under very little pressure. On further inspection, the metal piece was not cut flat to attach to the other piece above. The metal piece is glued to a plastic piece above, so there is no metal rod through out. My husband was confused on how I snapped a metal rod or plastic until we looked at how this was put together. Then we realized it's just cheaply made. I see other people saying theirs snapped in the wind and I can see why. Read more
