I absolutely love these black wide leg pants! They are perfect for the hot weather where I work — lightweight, breathable, and still polished enough to look put-together. The wide leg cut makes them super comfortable for all the walking I do, and the pockets are a major win — roomy and actually useful! I really appreciate that these pants come with a shorter inseam. They are still about 1-2" too long on me, but they are close to not having to hem! The fit of these pants is good. I currently wear a size 14/16, and the XL fits well. They are comfortable and roomy, but not too big. I also like the wide leg. They are really wide, so it is a true wide-leg pant. They drape nicely because of the extra fabric. What I don't love is the fabric. It's silky, almost like an exercise fabric, and I wasn't expecting that. I thought it would be softer and thicker. The fabric makes noise when walking, and the thighs brush each other. I don't think that I would feel comfortable wearing these to an office job because of that. Who wants to notify co-workers that you are up and about when you are walking because of the sound? Thankfully, I don't have an office job, so I can wear these around the house or out shopping. These pants are not flattering on my figure. They make me look larger than I am, but I do think that this style would look good on gals that are not curvy, especially with a crop top. I do think that the price point is high for these, given the type of fabric and the casual look of this pair of pants. Read more

These are absolutely not what I expected. The Amazon listing called them “trousers”—for travel, lounge, and work. But I’ve always thought of “trousers” as actual slacks—pants you could wear to the office or out in the world without hesitation. You know, pants you wouldn’t mind being seen in by your boss. These? In my opinion, these are loungewear. They’re made of a thin, almost jersey-like fabric—soft, yes, but nowhere near structured or tailored enough to be called trousers. The seams are on the outside of the pants, which threw me at first—I thought they were inside out. And the fit? I’d call it “fat.” They have no shape at all. Wide, boxy, and short. Maybe they’re meant to be cropped, but that wasn’t clear from the listing—and they definitely run short. If you’re looking for casual pants to wear around the house, these might work. But if you’re expecting anything remotely office-friendly, keep looking. Read more
