Amazing boots! I have very slim calves (11-1/2" at the largest part). I am an athlete and horse rider so I have very strong legs but no matter what I do I can't "bulk them up" enough to fit in regular boots. I've been look for breads for affordable boots that don't cost a fortune and aren't custom made. These boots are it! The fit in the legs is perfect! There's enough took that I can wear them with skinny jeans or leggings but not so much room that they look stupid if I just wear with tights and a skirt-no boot toppers or leg warmers required! I found them to be a bit roomy in the foot but, for me that's not a problem - just means I can wear a pair of socks to keep my feet cozy and warm. Love the fur in the shaft another plus in the warmth factor! The placement of the buckles at the ankle took a little getting used to but the first day I wore them was a full day at work when I was on my feet all day and they were supremely comfortable. I received these boots today, and they are amazing. They were somewhat tight, so I decided to wear them in the house for one hour. They absolutely comforted to my legs and calves beautifully. I sized up 1/2 size as I have a wide foot. The fit is perfect for skinny calfs. Mine measure 14.5 inches, but I am muscular as I am a horse rider for over 40 years. These boots are the first pair , besides Ariat brand, that I can recommend for slim calfs. The leather is beautiful and soft. I am so happy I tried these boots and they will be one of my go to brands in the future. I do recommend going up one half of a size if you have a wide foot and measure your calf. If your calf is bigger then 14.5 inches this will be a very tight fit. Read more
The heel cap came off after just a few wears. I buy these boots often because I have small calves and they fit well, just wish the soles and heels were made of better quality. I literally have to replace them every year and at almost $200 a pair, it’s becoming a bit much. Time to find another brand. Read more

So I ordered these boots and I absolutely fell in love with the quality and sophistication of these boots. They look better in real life than in the picture! The inside of the boot is a divine plush material for warmth (the whole inside! not just the footbed!). However, for once the calf circumference was too tight. My calfs measure 13", so it makes sense, but I figured this was another company saying 12", but really it's bigger. NOT true for this company. They really mean 12". I ordered a 6.5 for size reference. Was true to size. So I thought about stretching them (there is the panel in the back for some give, but not much). Instead, I ended up returning them and buying a custom calf fit from the company's website (solemani/slimcalfboot). It worked out great! Again they were spot on with measurements. Oh my! How many boots are out there that claim to be slim calf? Descriptions that list 13in circumference, but when you order them in a normal human size 9, turns out the said circumference stretches to 16? After dozens of shipped back boots, I was very skeptical about these, especially since the shipping is not free and I have never heard of the brand. I am happy to report that I am happy! These are really slim calf and they look very cute and well-made. They hug the leg perfectly, no gaps, no anything, even if I am just wearing tights. Unlike another pair I own these look elegant to go with a skirt and jeans alike. The heel is very sturdy and overall fit is great. These also fit true to size (I first ordered size 9, as I am in between 9 and 9.5, but then exchanged to 9.5). I have not noticed any odor from either pair shipped to me, so was a bit surprised to read about it in other reviews. This brand will be on my radar from now on! Read more
First pair of boots that have ever fit my slim calves! I got a 7.5, and the calf was perfect. They will be great over tights, and I expect with the stretchy panel they may even fit over skinny jeans although I don't want to stretch them out too much. The ankle was actually a little too big for me, but my ankles are very tiny (probably around 7.5 inches around). This is the most I have ever spent on boots/shoes, but I wanted something that would fit properly. The quality seems very high as well. I didn't have any problems with the zipper thus far. I bought these beautiful expensive boots in hopes that I was paying for QUALITY as I don’t mind doing for just that, a QUALITYk product. After just 2 wears this is my heel!
