The sound quality is not very good for listening to music. The intended purpose is to have the music or something play for you to hear alone at low volume without disturbing nearby. That one it did, but you will also not enjoy the music and rather have it off instead. I think it will be good for podcast or audiobook though. Anything that has no music will does the job fine. Having a sleep speaker is a nice way to enjoy your podcasts while falling asleep. The sound quality of this one is a little bit tinny, tbh my iPhone’s14’s built-in speaker sounds better… but there are a few reasons why you ought not have your phone next to your head all night long, especially with bluetooth working! You’ll need an adapter for this. I had one from an old pair of wired Apple earbuds. Besides the tinny sound, this speaker is mono so not fit for playing music.
