Excellent product great customer services

I highly recommend this product. This is the second Galileo practice net. The first was set-up outdoors and after 2+ years of use finally needed to be replaced. I bought my current net to practice hitting irons in my garage. I've hit thousands of balls into it over the past 10 months (purchased Aug. 2022) and the net has taken everything I can send at it. I don't always hit the target so the netting strength was very important to me. It has withstood ball speeds of 125 mph. There are 3 weak points... (Based on my first net which was used outdoors for over 2 years) 1. After months of use a topped driver shot tore through the plastic flooring where it attaches too the netting. Once the tear started there was no stopping it. Over time the plastic bottom at the back was completely detached from the net. The net was still useable however topped balls could fly under the net. 2. The material used for the top. After a year of sun and rain the roof material failed when a miss hit 7 iron broke through. Like the floor once the tear started there was no stopping it. (Duct tape couldn't hold it together.) 3. The target. The description says it is for designed for practicing chip shots and other low-intensity shots so I cannot fault Galileo for the failure. What I can say is they replaced the target no questions asked. They also followed up with an emails making sure that I was happy with their service. I am! I found a way to use the new target without ripping through. I hung a thick cloth (painters tarp type material) behind the target. It has been a couple months now and the target has withstood over 2000 impacts with ball speeds up to 120 mph. I suggest pairing with a launch monitor to track where your shots would end up on the course. I was hitting the center of the target from about 9 feet away however, due to ball spin a shot can be significantly offline. The combination of the Galileo net and launch monitor has allowed me too practice with purpose and improve my game. The net paid for itself by eliminating just a few trips to driving range. Superior Golf Driving Net at a Great Price

I've been using this net for almost 5 months in my back yard. Have hit thousands of balls into it from wedges to drivers--mostly 3-4-5 irons. It is holding up very well and I would rate the durability as excellent. But I'm 77 and don't have the swing speed I did as a youngster. So I don't know what would happen if Bryson Dechambeau unloaded a driver into it. It was easy to setup (with a little help from my wife) in under 30 minutes. And it stays in place with the tie-downs that are provided. While I have it on grass, it could easily be set up on a hard surface such as asphalt, concrete, or inside your house (if you have the space. On a hard surface, you may not be able to use the tie-downs, unless you jerry rig them with some heavy object to help stay in place . But the tie-downs aren't required as they are mainly to keep it from blowing over in a strong wind. The only drawback is it takes a big space. But that is also a plus if you have the needed space. I had one minor issue and when I contacted the company (Galileo), their response was rapid and exceptional. I don't know if this specific item is still available. But if not, I'd have confidence in buying a similar item from them. Read more

Easy to assemble? No. Well, yes after you've done it many times, but not the 1st-10th time

Don't get me wrong. This is actually a pretty good golf net. The instructions are worthless, but once you figure it out, you're about home free. The mistake I made with my last net was leaving it out in the weather. The sun destroyed the nylon through which you insert the poles (think modern two-man tent with break-down flexible poles). So now, I break down the net after each use. Takes me less than five minutes tops. I leave the poles in their nylon slips and disconnect the poles at the very top which allows them to straighten out. I then roll up the whole thing and put it in the garage. Takes less than 5 minutes to set it up. The key is to color code the pole ends with their respective receivers. The target is a great addition. It serves two functions: 1) you see direct and offline shots and 2) it absorbs the blow of the golf ball so the net behind it doesn't take a beating. It takes about 47 attempts to figure out how to get the target to stay hooked up, but once you figure it out, you're good to go. My only complaint is a small tear appeared in the bottom fabric for no reason I can find. I fixed it with two inches of duct tape on top and bottom. A similar tear appeared where the net meets the bottom material. Again, no reason that I can find. I fixed it the same with duct tape and have had no issues since. I'm pretty sure this material would succumb to the sun's rays and disintegrate but I've made that a non-issue. All in all, I get a lot of use out of it and like it. Read more

Good net for the money. Excellent customer service.

I have been hitting into this net in front of a Skytrak launch monitor for about two weeks and the impact material has held up well including a lot of full swings with the driver. You have to stand a bit close if you want to hit full swings with your wedges but it will catch them. A pretty decent option especially if you have limited space. Update: 10/10 for customer service. One of the fiberglass poles split at the end, which destroys the pole and causes it to splinter into nasty shards. This is the case for any fiberglass pole. They reached out to me and after a very short, polite exchange, they sent a whole new net free of charge and told me to keep the original as spare parts. Read more
