The padding on one of the sides of the ring came off. I guess it wasn't secured on well. I was able to stick it back but you never know when it may come off again. Other than that the ring is fine and great for practicing pilates. Very sturdy. Read more

I bought this ring because I wanted to practice pilates outside of my usual class. The rings used in class actually have some weight to them and are, dare I say, higher quality. I've seen the Gaiam brand on a lot of expensive things and expected this ring to match that of the one in the gym I use, but: 1. It is feather weight - almost weightless. 2. I've had it for a few weeks and the inner foam pad is detaching (seems like it the adhesive was something like glue?) 3. It feels kinda cheap. If you use it only for balance/transfer exercises, it's fine, but if you're looking to add in any of the abduction/adduction exercises, this ring has ZERO resistance. Read more
