Bad purchase
Very flimsy! Can’t believe this is what we got for what we paid. Ended up using the part the microwave sits on & our old outer frame because this one was narrow & cheap looking. Read more
As expected
Fairly straight forward to install. Arrived in good shape and looks great. Frame sits 1.5 inches out from the cabinet, something to keep in mind if you're looking to align perfectly with cabinet doors. Read more
Fits perfectly around the microwave and looks great!
The trim kit fit perfectly around the microwave and looks great! It's made of a 1-2 mm stainless steel sheet over a plastic frame. The only problem, and it was with both the 27 and 30 inch trim kit, was that the screws that anchored the frame to the surrounding cabinet were too close to the edge of the wood. We were able to insert the screws at an angle to get around this problem. This would not have been a problem if the hole for the mounting screws was moved a half inch over. Read more
