After one year of use, these still work great, so we bought some more. Solar-powered, probably 8 to 12 hours of use on a full charge. Excellent construction. Northeast environment with snow, ice, and summer heat. A user-friendly replaceable battery pack was a must for us. These are not cheap, but they are well worth it. Two light levels, low and high, plus a selection of bright white and warm white, all at the flick of a rubberized weather-proof switch. Read more
These are well constructed pathway lights. All metal and in particular I like that the solar panel is covered in glass. The solar panel on the cheap pathway lights end up getting dull and fail to work. The light given off is adequate for our needs. But they do not last through the entire evening. By about 5am the light becomes very dull. Read more
I have only had these for a few weeks but they seem to be high quality. They look great by my entryway. I have no idea what some reviewers were saying about difficult to assemble. They make it SO EASY. They even have some screws already in the hole where they should go so there is not guessing what goes where. Read more
I have had these lights in operation for 4 months and they have worked great. The lighting is a nice comfortable shade (not too white or bright). THe lights charge in the sun then stay on all night. The dusk to dawn feature works great! I will be ordering more of these lights. Read more
I live in Phoenix so there is plenty of sunshine for the solar panels to charge the batteries. After only a few months, several (I purchased 12) of the units stopped working. I changed a few batteries (at over $25 per battery) and the units worked fine again. Disappointing considering the initial cost of the units. I won't buy these again and would not recommend them considering their cost and their short lived batteries. Read more
Great driveway lights. High quality Read more
Just got these and ran one night, lots to love about these: very high-quality and sturdy construction. Huge solar panel compared to every other solar light I've used or seen. Seems like high quality powder coated finish and everything fit together great (except see below). I would have given this 5 stars except for the facts that 1) the threading of the screw for the spike to stake assembly is total crap. The threads got messed up when they cut the parts and they didn't bother to recut the threads. It took me no less than about 15 minutes of frustration per light to get the damn things to thread together. Only 1 out of 9 lights easily thread together like you'd expect and 1 cross threaded and would not go together. For $80 a piece you'd expect perfection. 2) So. Many. Screws. Granted you get the benefit of a 3 part stake to adjust the height but it takes 6 screws to just assemble the thing. Need to change the battery? NINE, yes 9 screws to get at the battery. Also, the screws are soft and easy to strip so take great care not to over tighten. So I'd recommend the light based on the quality and performance, just prepare yourself for a frustrating assembly and battery change when the time comes. Read more
