These are the best solar lights I have ever used. I have spent money and more money on the cheaper versions that don't last, or you try to move them and the stake stays in the ground and you can't get it back out! These are expensive, but WORTH EVERY PENNY! They are heavy, there are 2 settings for light brightness, the stake pieces have screws that solidly attach each piece to the other AND the stake screws into the bottom of the stake, so if you want to remove the light the whole thing stays in tact when you pull it out of the ground. I've bought 5 sets and may come back for more! The light is bright without being blinding. Extra stakes included so you can choose how tall you want the light. JUST A WONDERFUL PURCHASE! Read more

Updated June 4, 2024 so I’m an idiot, on the base of the bulb is a little switch that you have to turn on before you inserted into the base. I did not and that’s why they didn’t originally work. Now they look very nice as you can see light it up in the pictures. They give off a decent amount of light. My neighbors could see them all the way across the road and they’re set pretty far back. Value for the money I don’t think that they’re worth what the asking price was, but that’s going to also depend on durability and performance Would’ve looked nicer with the base to cap off the post, But it looks nice as it is. Note: I am an Amazon vine member, which means I am provided product at no charge to review and evaluate. I take this very seriously as I too rely on reviews when purchasing items on Amazon and other websites. I judge items on what they claim they’re supposed to do, how they perform, the quality of the materials, the value for the money and product durability. Update: May 28, 2024. So the light had all day to charge on a very sunny day in Florida. Came home at about 930 pm and it was not working at all. It had only been dark for about an hour or so it couldn’t have ran out of juice. See picture I’m gonna adjust my review accordingly. Look at them again tomorrow, There wasn’t many different ways to install this so I don’t see how it could be wrong. I thought that I had 5“ x 5“ posts at my gate, apparently I have 6“ x 6“. Not the products fault, my fault , there is an option to install without the cover for the post so I did that. Installation took less than five minutes, would not have made a difference if the cap had been on the time would’ve been the same. One screw per base into the post. It seems like it’s made out of good materials, the solar panels compared to other solar items I have seen much better quality. I’ll update with lights tonight after it charges today. Value for the money, unless these things are as bright as lighthouses they are very out of line with Other solar light products. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Where to begin! We had a set of cheaper lights on our mailbox posts. They are 4x4 posts. We had a tornado come over our home which damaged one of them beyond repair. So, we needed a new set that would stand up to our rough weather a little better. We ordered THESE! These came in and I was sort of surprised at how they felt in my hands. They had the feel and look of quality just in how heavy they are. I couldn't wait to get them out to the posts and install them but I wanted to test them first. I set them on my back deck and once it got darl, they lit the entire area. They were so impressive that I almost just left them there. Alas, I had to install them onto the mailbox posts. I should mention that one of the posts belongs to my neighbor. I had not spoken with them about the changes I was making, I simply installed the lights and then went to supper. Before I could finish supper, the neighbor sent me a text saying that the new lights looked amazing! We still had not seen them as we were out. When we got home, we were very happy with how they looked. We were 2 blocks away and could easily see our lights. They are very bright, they have an internal battery that last the entire night with no dimming, they look great, they were extremely easy to install. We are very happy with them. I should mention that the base of the mounts come in 2 sized. 1 for a 4x4 and one for a 6x6 ( I think ) the one I used was for a 4x4 post but it was slightly too big. This isn't a problem for me but if you think this is going to fit your post snugly, you may want to measure your post first and then refer to the dimensions on the ad to verify. Very highly recommended. Read more

Having tried many of these I can say this is allot better made then most. It would belong on the dock of a good marina. It is clearly meant too last a while. The power heads a bit tight fitting so its a good idea too remove it gingerly if you want too change a setting, it only has 3 including off so its probably not going to be an issue often. You get high or low and off. the control is simple water proofed toggle. the base is a screw down plate or a reversable spike. which requires setting indipendently so you will need a hammer, no stomping this down. That being the case its pretty stable and ithe housings stainless. The light it emits is rather diffuse and its more of a textured pattern rather then smooth light. It is visable from a good distance though and I expect Night boaters will soon be using it as a light house behind my place. Often people equqte more with better but in this case simple is a winning formula. Thats why this review is not terribly long. I can't criticise this allot its just a simple well thought out and made light with enough battery too last till morning. Needless to say I would have these on my dock its the best of this style I have tried over the years with the only negative being it is not cheap at all like most similar lights. Buy if you want too be done with lighting once and for all. Read more
