My Gamboa sweater that I bought 4 years ago was super soft and cozy. Believable alpaca fiber. The yarn carry over on the back side of the sweater gets snagged easily and I thought I would start fresh with a new one. Bought the same sweater and it came today. Woefully thin and very itchy. This one is not alpaca yarn. Either a blend with regular wool, or the worst quality alpaca fiber ever. I wear a lot of alpaca because of the warmth and softness. I even knit with alpaca yarn. I know the difference. I'm definitely returning the sweater and will repair the snags in my old one because at least it's worth keeping. Read more

Christmas gift for daughter. She loves it. Be careful, though, sizes runs quite small. Ordered a medium thinking it would be very loose. It's not at all! This is a great sweater and its so warm and soft. The main issue is that the zipper slides down constantly and won't stay zipped. I bought 2 of these sweaters and returned one. I wish I could return the other one because I cannot wear it unless I want to fuss with the zipper constantly, but I can't. You might have to pin it up to keep it closed. Read more

Color is not what I would describe as ‘Olive’ but is pretty true to photo. The knit is light and loose. Buttonholes could be better finished and are a little tight for the wooden buttons but I imagine that varies from garment to garment and the holes will loosen up with time. No real complaints about the sweater itself; it doesn’t go around my hips as I hoped but that’s my fault for having too much hip. It is warm when I layer with it and is very attractive (compliments) so I am happy. Read more

I loved the style in the picture. I liked that the back and front were different lengths than the sides. Ordered a larger size due to reviews. It fits snug. It's as long as the picture shows the back being but it's all one length. Still, it's super soft and pretty so I'm keeping it. Read more
