GAN i4 UV Bluetooth Speed Cube 3x3 Omni-Directional Smart Core Electronic Magnetic Speedcube with Charging GanPod Gyroscope Tracking

This cube is seriously fast. Corner cutting is excellent, and even when I push my TPS higher, it stays stable with very few lockups. For context, I also own the GAN 16 Maglev Max and the GAN 12 UI. Performance-wise, this cube feels very close to the 16 Maglev Max. The weight is nearly identical, and the turning feel is extremely similar. Compared to the GAN 12 UI, though, this one is noticeably more stable. When I increase my TPS on the 12 UI, I occasionally experience lockups. That simply has not happened with this cube. The charging pod does not include a built-in battery like the 12 UI case. In practice, that has not been an issue. The battery life on this cube lasts significantly longer than my 12 UI, so the extra battery in the case feels unnecessary. It also pairs perfectly with a GAN Robot, although that is entirely optional. On top of that, the price is considerably lower than the GAN 12 UI, despite this being the better cube between the two. I’m only about two months into cubing hourney, but I’ve already tested several cubes. The wife has labeled it as an official mid-life crisis. This GAN i4 UV is perfect for me and incredibly fast. I am curious if I ordered another would it be the same tuning? The way this thing snaps back is what finally enabled me to hit sub-60 sec times. Its so bouncy I love it. Is this how Those high priced GANs perform? I'm sold. The app is the obvious reason i purchased, as i wanted to track , see stats and battle. But was pleasantly surprised with the feel. Read more
