Lovely basic sweater with a nice fit. The sizing is spot on for how I planned to wear it, but other fellow taller people may have problems with the length if they don't want a shorter fit in the torso (I live in high waisted bottoms.) The sleeves were a good length as well and I don't think they would be overly long on a shorter or average person. The material feel is so-so. Not the softest but definitely not the roughest either. The only thing is that it came with an odd smell to it, but I figure that it's part of the dyeing process since black can be a difficult color for dyeing clothing. This Gap sweater is so nice. It’s rare to find a 100% cotton sweater these days, and this one reminds me what I love about cotton. The quality is top notch; the stitching is nice and there’s no loose threads anywhere. It’s soft and comfortable. And while it feels heavy picking it up, it doesn’t feel heavy when it’s on. It’s nice and thick but not sweaty. The fit is also great, it feels true to size. I ordered XS and it fits exactly as I hoped it would. The shoulders sit where they should, and the sleeves are slightly long just like the more recent styles tend to adorn.
