I love this watch. I have a very small wrist, so small that its a problem finding a watch that will fit on my arm. I am also a runner so Garmin was already top of my list. If you are unsure which Garmin Lily 2 to choose, I would really recommend you spend the extra $50 and go with the Active. I had the Lily 2 for a week or so and decided to upgrade. The active has so many more features. The Lily 2 is 35mm and the Lily 2 Active is 38mm. This is still very small for a smartwatch and it has double the battery life of the Lily 2. You also get the Sleep Coach, Garmin Pay, custom text responses, more accurate tracking for runs, and lots of other little features. Also, its a beautiful watch. I bought this because I started to hate my Apple Watch. It was glitching too often, not tracking any data, not sending me my text messages etc. I wanted a watch that tracks all the usual, but also look nice. I started to hate the look of an Apple Watch. The garmin lily 2 looks so aesthetically pleasing. I have only had it for a few days but I already notice such a difference. The battery life is awesome. I haven’t charged it since I got it on Monday and it is still over 50% in battery life through several long full days. I am still working out the differences between an Apple Watch and the garmin but it seems to do the important things. I see all of my notifications and can track so much! If you’re tired of Apple Watches and want better data collected, switch to a garmin. Read more
Love this watch! If you are looking to track basic fitness and health, this is perfect for you! I didn’t want all the bells and whistles and app interaction that the Apple Watch had. I tried the rings but it was too bulky for strength training. This is perfect. Love the slim band as it’s more feminine me . Simple to use. Read more
I am NOT tech savvy... at all. However, I could figure this watch out! I have always thought I have thicker wrists and was worried this would look too small, but it is a perfect fit- not too big and not too small. Comfortable to wear and not heavy or bulky. I also like that I can swap out watch bands to dress it up. So far the battery life is impressive - shockingly so. It is an intuitive watch with features that help me keep on top of my health. I REALLY wanted to like the Garmin Lily 2 Active. It’s beautiful, lightweight, and on paper it had everything I was looking for. Unfortunately, my experience was incredibly frustrating and I ended up returning it. The biggest issue was that the watch would randomly lock itself. It would just freeze or refuse to respond. When I tried unlocking it through the Garmin Connect app, the watch wouldn’t even react. A few times, I even got random glitchy lines across the middle of the screen, which honestly felt like a hardware or display issue. It would also randomly stop syncing from my phone. And not just once... this was happening basically every day. I constantly had to go into my Bluetooth settings, delete the device, and re-add it from scratch just to get it to connect again. That’s not something you should have to do daily with a smartwatch. Tracking was also disappointing. Sleep tracking was very inconsistent, some nights it barely recorded anything or gave numbers that didn’t make sense. Step tracking didn’t feel accurate either. I compared to my own mental calculations, my fitbit and my apple watch. For a fitness watch, that’s kind of the whole point, so that was a deal breaker for me. The app connection overall felt unreliable. When the watch locked up or unsynced, the app didn’t help much. It’s such a shame because the design is gorgeous and I really wanted this to be my everyday watch. But between the random lockups, screen glitches, constant Bluetooth issues, and unreliable tracking, it was an epic fail for me. I returned it and went with something else.
