I bought this hoping it would be an acceptable, budget-friendly alternative to a more pricey blow dry spray that also claims to give "expensive-looking hair." The oils in the ingredients list made me worry that this product might weigh down my fine hair, or make it look greasy, but I'm pleased to say no such thing happens with this spray! It gives me smooth, silky, incredibly soft hair, and keeps flyaways under control, without being heavy or sticky in the least. Honestly, I like this product better than the expensive one! I am a straight natural with 3C hair and I keep this in my travel bag for when I stay in hotels. It’s a great leave-in pre blowdry, and with the serum I can make wash my hair and still wear my bob away from home. My hair is always left swingy and bouncy. Ive been looking for a product for years that my frizzy curly hair would love and this is it! My hair doesnt grow much so if really short and frizzy. Doesnt hold any product! But this one does. Compared to the gloss shine spray this is a different applicqtion. It separated each and every hair into a strand so if you have flat black hair it will frizz it up. For shine wise its more of a dull shine so 6/10 for shine. Maybe 5.5. So I would say if your hair lays down and you want to have an airy feeling use this. Then shine on top. This should not be marketed as a shine spray as the original yet cheaper product is an absolutely amazing product is way better. This should be called a separation spray. I have very dull, dry,damaged hair and I’ve tried so many products looking for that shiny, sleek look. Well let me tell you this is the one! I put some on before blow drying and then a small amount before i flat iron. No other products were needed! My hair looks healthy, shiny and sleek. Not greasy at all but still use it sparingly.
