It's very pretty, it's low so if you're not into that, you may want to consider another option, but for me it's perfect. It's sturdy, but the size is bigger than our bed by a few centimeters (like 3 or 4), so there's space that's empty that I don't like on the edges. The instructions are also very clear, me and my husband built it in about an hour, but it does take two people to do the king size, so keep that in mind. Read more

Edit: since posting this Garvee sent me private emails and I think my review will be removed if I share what was said but they have confirmed to me they are a very dishonest company. Which explains the image that's photoshopped. I'd give them no stars if I could. Bad bed, dishonest company. Don't buy! Original: So this is an actual honest review of this junk bed. Luckily I wont need it but for a year or more. The current place in living at the floors are slanting really badly. My landlord can't fix them until I relocate because that's no crawl space and they need to fully tear up the floors. I can't move just yet. So I had to downsize my queen bed to a twin XL to fit in the only spot in my bedroom where the floors are least slanted. I got this Garvee bed specifically because I have cats and don't like them under my bed and zooming in on the images this was the only bed with a engineered wood frame that didn't look like it was split in two sections. At least the pinewood bed in the instead looked to be one solid sheet of wood along the long side of the bed. Well clearly that image is photoshopped. Which means this is false advertising and I'm pissed. I am disabled and live alone and don't drive. I had to put this thing together myself and if I take it apart I'll have to find a way to transport it to UPS store. I can't have pickup because my house is a garage house and they'll just come to the wrong location anyway. The long side of the bed splits into two sections. Because my floor is slanted it is separating that space and there's nothing I can do about it. I can't return it and I'll have to continue making my payments on this piece of junk. Unless they are fully metal beds like this should never come in sections the way this is. It also looks awful. Even if it can't together properly. Before I put it in the floor you could see that seam across the room. Why pay that much money for a bed that is hideous? Just buy a cheap metal frame if you don't care if your bed looks like junk. I really want a refund or something. This is ridiculous the junk that gets sold on here anymore. This thing is like worth half it's price on sale. If even that much. Hopefully it'll last a year at least. First picture of the gap is on my slanted floors. The second picture though is of that dream before even putting it on the floor. There was that much of a tiny gap. I even tried using a rubber hammer to get it to come together better and it wouldn't. Third picture is the joke they think will keep that cheap pieces of particle board together. Yeah the metal is sturdy but this engineered wood junk is so flimsy. That strong metal will tear that apart unless you're like under 100 lbs and barely sleep on your bed. Read more

UPDATE: customer service reached out to me and we're very nice and refunded me part of my order. The bed has held up well through my first guest staying in the guestroom. This bed is not as tall as it appears in the photos. Its very low to the ground. Putting it together was fairly easy. I did it by myself but I'm dissappointed at gow low to the ground it is. I was looking for a modern organic type bed but this bed is basically like sleeping on the floor. If you do get it, get a 12 inch mattress or add a box spring. Read more

very easy to build and secure! if you have hardwood floors i would suggest adding something to the bottom of it as it does slide around. But other than that it’s super nice! very affordable and i love the no headboard look!!! would recommend! Read more
