Works well

It states in the description that this is a "Triple-flint lighter" - that's not true. This uses a single flint. The flint is 2.6mm in diameter and 7.5mm long. There are flints on Amazon that are 2.5mm in diameter and 5mm long. I haven't tried them yet, but I think they should work. I don't see any flints that are 2.6mmx7.5mm anywhere. It has a good spark that easily lights my old gas kitchen stove with just one click that has a broken striker on one burner. I needed to put a few layers (3) of shrink tubing on the trigger like others here have done otherwise it's painful to use. Don't pull the trigger quickly multiple times - just once is usually all that's necessary. If it doesn't light, wait a second then pull the trigger again. Read more

I keep this as momento as it is the kind I used to use at work. Higher price than imports. Just keeping history alive. They work excellent btw. Read more

Massive Time Saver

Zachary EnglishDecember 7, 2024✓ Verified purchase

Using a traditional striker on a jobsite with significant dust or mud is a massive headache as they will often pack the knurled surface with debris and make it extremely difficult to get a spark off of it. This thing shoots good sparks every time without fail, you'll start your torch immediately. Don't ever loan it out, it'll walk off. Read more

I loved this striker and it worked better than any other striker I have owned. Until someone at work relieved me of it. They loved it too I guess. Read more
