Great Kitchen Utility
Seems to work great but has some cosmetic defects! The cabinet isn’t exactly square allowing for a noticeable gap between the top corner of the cabinet and the control panel. I can’t know if they are all that way. Also, on side closest to the control panel, the whole bottom edge of the cabinet is bowed in towards the center significantly warping the symmetry of the cabinet on that side. Distracting but doesn’t appear to affect operation of the device. Read more
Good affordable microwave
The GE Countertop Microwave Oven (1.1 cu. ft., 950W) has been a great replacement for my old microwave, especially considering the discount/sale price. For the money, it’s a solid, affordable option that does exactly what you’d expect. Performance-wise, it heats food evenly and the 950 watts is plenty for everyday use. The size is just right — compact enough to fit easily on the counter but still roomy enough for normal plates and bowls. It also looks nice, with a clean, modern design that doesn’t feel cheap. This unit replaced my old microwave after it decided to stay on even with the door open (not ideal 😅), so this was a much-needed upgrade. The only real gripe I have is the child safety lock, which can be a bit annoying if you don’t need it. That said, it can be deactivated by pressing and holding 7, 8, and 9, so once you know that, it’s not a big issue. Overall, this microwave offers good value, good looks, and reliable function. If you can grab it on sale, it’s an especially great deal and an easy recommendation. Read more
