Made Thanksgiving easier
I used it for making pastry topping, whipping cream, blending sweet potato casserole and several other things in the short time that I’ve had it. It seems strong and the components change out easily. Read more
Still going strong….2 years later
I bought this GE immersion blender back in November 2023. At the time of this review it’s the end of September 2025. I use this handy and convenient kitchen tool 4-5 times a month or more, and it still works like new, out of the box. It blends very well just using the blender and the chopping tool has spoiled me, getting the chopping done way faster than by hand with a knife and cutting board. It’s not too loud, and it’s very easy to clean. The off brand Chinese made immersion blender than I had before this one only lasted for around 9 months before the motor burnt up just from normal use. I feel like buying this GE blender was a great value for the money since it has lasted so long. I can’t imagine cooking without it now….and honestly if the motor on this one was to burn up today like my old one did, I would buy this same one again! Read more
Nice sturdy blender but ....
This item was way too heavy for my mom to use. She is 80 and wanted one to make mash potatoes with and soups. I think it likely works great and is not cheaply made BUT if your hands are weak this is not the one for you. We did use it to make anything we simply set it up and had her try to hold it and take the attachments off and it was just too hard for her. Again though, very well made and likely works well. Solid appliance - good value
There are no real bells and whistles, just two buttons: Lo and Hi. That's really all I needed/wanted, so this appliance does the trick. I needed it to purify soups, whip cream, chop things I'm too lazy to do by hand - like nuts or garlic or veggies. Highly recommend this item. Read more
