Solid performer
Follow Up: Continue to rate highly but would add one negative. Although described as “stainless” steel, the microwave shows every fingerprint - merely looking at the machine seems to cause a fingerprint! - and the exterior is hard to clean. Otherwise a good microwave but with the two negative features noted below. Replaced a GE Spacesaver II which we had for many years. More powerful and a bit quieter, but lacks two features that cost it a star: numbers hard to read on key pad and no way to stop rotating glass plate. Otherwise seems a solid performer. Read more

As loud as my hairdryer
Unreal how loud this microwave is. In an era where most appliances are getting quieter, this was far, far louder than the 10+ year old GE microwave it was replacing. How bad could it be? Bad enough that I'm returning it despite being without a microwave for 5 days. Read more

Good Value microwave
I had a small microwave and this was a definite upgrade as it is larger and more powerful. It takes a little time to get used to how to operate as that is not completely clear on the buttons. The only negative is that after I had opened the box and set up the microwave, the door had a defect and makes a loud noise when you open it as something is catching. Its mostly just a nuisance and not worth trying to re-box and return for a new one. Aside from that, it works great. Read more
