I was shocked to get a product on scamazon that actually isn't a total piece of crap. It actually works, and slightly better than my old $3 store brand one from the hardware store. Haven't tried to screw any tight screws with it yet. These have a simple spring inside which they hide under the sheath, so you can't tell what a cheap piece of crap it is. That spring is weak and easily unravels if you try to put too much torque on. That's what happened to my old one - we'll see with this. Read more

It works as expected, the question will be durability and how it holds over time and use. It was purchased to replace a different brand that rusted and the locking mechanism failed after two used spread over a long period of time. So I don’t use this extension on a daily basis. It appears to have a durable finish on both end so it should last a while without oxidation. My main use is with a brush head for cleaning wheels in an automotive application so it is exposed to soap water and cleaning agents for wheels. Read more
