Nice belt for just an OK price

Mr.KnowItAllFebruary 20, 2026

I like this GEIT tactical belt for a couple of reasons. Primarily, it can be easily inserted thru belt loops without having to disassemble the buckle - as some of these tactical belts require. This might seem like a given assumption, but I have a few of these type belts and they are not all so easy to wear. Simply, the "B end" of this belt is small enough to thread through average belt loops and click onto the "A end" of the buckle without taking it apart. I also like that the buckle is simple and small and relatively plain looking, not drawing attention. It is very easy to operate, unlike some of these tactical buckles. A simple intuitive squeeze with the finger and thumb on the top and bottom edge of the buckle releases it. Again, not every tactical buckle is this easy. To adjust the length for a proper fit, the belt strap simply passes around and thru a bend in the main "A part" of the buckle with any excess length hidden underneath. No heavy or complicated lift-up locks or cams or teeth or requirement to cut the belt length to exactly accomodate today's girth. The belt material itself is about the same as all the other stretchy tactical belts I have so nothing special there. The width, thickness and stretchability give a nice secure feeling whether you prefer a tight fit or anything more loose. It's plenty strong enough to support some reasonable additional weight - like your Leatherman or maybe one or two hand grenades. The only negative thing I can think to add is the stamped "OPEN" labeling on the buckle buttons. Seriously? You can't figure that out for yourself? I find it detracts from an otherwise nice clean look, but the print is small and I doubt anyone but your closest friends will notice. Sadly, I would say this tactical belt from GEIT has a lower value due to its relatively higher price. I see these belts going for $7-15 and up to $20, and as simple as this one is (a good thing) I would expect it to sell for less. So while I like this belt more than any of the others I have I'm knocking off a star because of the price. For $20 you'll like it. For $10-12 you would love it. Read more

Long-lasting, durable

Christina BoxmaMarch 26, 2026

I wasn’t able to get any pictures of this belt being worn. I gave the belt to my son on his last visit. He really liked it once he figured out how to adjust it. I wasn’t crazy about “open” being permanently etched onto the buckle, it may make you think twice about using it for dressier occasions. That’s unfortunate. But overall, it’s a great quality belt. I like the stretch, especially for a very active person. Adjusting it is a little bit cumbersome but once you’ve done it it’s unlikely you’ll need to adjust it again very soon. There’s no slippage once you’ve done have it set. The price is right and it looks good. Read more

Great, Sturdy and Good Looking Belt!

Fifty, Fat, Frazzled, FabulousMarch 20, 2026

My kiddo was admiring a similar belt on another site that was considerably more expensive than this one - so I jumped at the chance to purchase this one! It looks great, adjusts easily, and seems to be pretty sturdy given that it still looks like new even though he has worn it nearly every day! The black buckle on the black nylon belt looks sleek for casual looks, and the nylon belt holds its shape but is flexible at the same time! The buckle opens and closes easily, but holds firm when closed. Great item at a great price! Read more

The perfect sized belt

TheGrumpyCapyMarch 13, 2026

Great work belt and great for if someone is losing or gaining weight. The belt does not have the typical notches to thread the buckle in. So if you are an inbetween size, this is perfect or if you have those varying days where one day this fits and due to medical the next day it doesn't, this belt is perfect for you. It is durable, well made, you can do that scary belt snap with it, and you can also use it in case of an emergency for a turnicate, sling, etc. The buckle is like a seat belt and unclips and clips easily. Belt weight is average belt weight and not heavy like some are. Stretch but firm, slightly larger fit

In My OpinionFebruary 22, 2026

This is my first "tactical" belt, so my review is coming from that perspective. I ordered the Coffee belt in size 39"-42" with a Length of 49" - box is labeled 125cm. The 49" is the overall length of the nylon component of the belt where some of that is threaded back through the buckle. The buckle is a flat black with buttons labeled with 'open' - kind of unnecessary, but not that objectionable or that noticeable. The coffee color of the belt met my expectations from the listing pictures, going with most casual pants / shorts I have. While the belt is listed as supporting sizes 38" to 42", it could actually go higher in my opinion. It seems like the 2.5" size of the belt buckle is not taken into account. The belt metal tab of the belt locks completely inside the buckle. The belt will not release without squeezing the two buttons. If a shorter size is required, the belt is adjusted by sliding it back through the buckle and adjusting the elastic band to rain the part in back. The belt, with about 46" has between 5" to 6" of stretch, but the pull back is strong. The belt holds firmly. It can easily supported items that I hung from it without issue, pants stayed up.
