I used this for my mountain bike grips, and it worked great. Squeeze the bottle just a little, and you'll get just the right amount of cleaner, and with the built-in brush, it works all the crevices without reaching for another tool. I used this on several other rubber/soft plastic items too, and only used maybe 5% of the bottle. It's like eating potato chips, you can't stop at just one item - good stuff! Read more

I got this to give as a gift to an avid golfer, but I'm not quite sure how I feel about this one. The proprietary sport cleaner and brush have no flaws on their own, but it's the practicality and convenience of this as a set that I am wondering about. I'm not a golfer but was married to a professional golf sports psychologist for years so I've been to my fair share of courses and my nephew played for his school team throughout high school. The spray cleaner is effective at cleaning and restoring tackiness to your grip and conveniently sized so it's always ready when needed. Straightforward to use with the spray pump. From what I've heard, this cleaner is generally highly rated by users and trusted as a better alternative to soap and water (especially if none is available nearby). It's meant to be versatile and safe to use not only on grips but also clubs, grooves, shoes and even golf balls. Removes grime and dirt so you can try to beat Newton's law of motion. Basically, your on-the-go cleaning station. The brush has a neat design with the magnet. This can be hooked to your golf bag and the magnet has a quick release mechanism for convenience. It's meant to go hand in hand with the cleaner, but you have to unscrew and remove the spray pump in order to be able to install the brush head. This is where the problem lies. Having to do this means you'll only be able to get the cleaner on to the brush head by squeezing it out with the help of gravity. There's a little foam piece inside the brush head to absorb and release the cleaner. It also means the liquid can spill if you don't put the cap back on. This step just took away all the convenience and practicality out of this product, as a set, unless I'm missing something in the directions. Can you use each item individually on their own? Definitely can with the spray cleaner, but would be difficult with the brush. Read more

I’ve been using Geko for years and it’s truly the best product for my clubs. I’ve repurchased it multiple times so when I saw a new brush attachment I had to try it. Did not disappoint. Read more

I got this for my husband who plays golf a couple times a week. He said it worked great and cleaned the grooves of his clubs really well, and leaves the grips tacky. He said the brush was really helpful. It was easy to use and smells lemony, but not overpowering. But when I told him the price, he said he wouldn’t pay that . Read more

I ordered this golf club and grip cleaner because my clubs all need a little cleaning and restoration. It does a pretty good job of cleaning my club heads with the little brush attachment that it comes with. But I think it's really the brush and the action of scrubbing your clubs that cleans them. I am not sure how effective the actual cleanser is at cleaning your clubs when water does the same job. I think it's priced a bit high for what you get. I will say, that I tried it on my daughter's flag football gloves and it does seem to help with the tackiness/stickiness, so I may end up using it for her gloves and basketball and basketball shoes. I took a picture of all the different ways you can use the cleanser - things that I didn't think about. As for a cleaning solution for your clubs, again, I think it's the brush that does the cleaning, not necessarily the cleanser. Having said that, it is pretty convenient that the brush is attached to the liquid solution, so you don't need to go look for a water source. I also like that the brush comes with a carabiner, so you can attach it to your golf bag and have it handy. The instructions say not to keep the brush attached to the liquid; otherwise you may have some leakage. I would highly recommend following those instructions and I also recommend keeping the small plastic ziploc bag that the brush comes in. After use, you can store it back in the bag. As a cleaner for golf clubs, I think it's okay, but as a grip restorer for your clubs, gloves, or other items, I think it's effective. Read more
