This is a quality boot. Leather is soft and pliable, the sole of the boot moves with my foot. Heel height is comfortable and boots are quiet when walking. My normal shoe size is 8 to 8.5 medium to wide. This boot is a medium width and I ordered an 8.5. Toe box area is generous - no issues with tightness. Having a wide foot with a narrow heel, so many boots/shoes slip off my heels when they are wide enough for my foot. Not with this boot - the stockinet around the top holds everything in place. These boots are really beautiful. The leather is excellent quality, looks expensive and style is adorable. I thought I might not like the brown leather strip on the black leather boots, but it adds a little detail if you are wearing a dress and if you wear cropped jeans, you don't even see it. I really wanted to like these boots. They are very cute, but they are not comfortable to me. The logo is so deeply stamped into the leather footbed that I can feel it on the bottoms of my feet. And where the fabric is sewed onto the leather creates a bump that is also noticeable and uncomfortable. I will be returning these and continuing my search. Read more
