Replacement for 2012 Honda Civic

THX1138February 5, 2019✓ Verified purchase

Took a long time to find this part. Took the old one into multiple auto parts stores and they couldn't find it. Wasn't going to the stealership! If you blew the main battery fuse on your 2012 civic, this is what you need. It also has fuses for other sub-busses in the main fuse box under the hood, so if you have a whole section of fuses and relays that seem to be out this is probably the culprit. Easy to swap out with a phillips screwdriver. Read more

Back in Action!

My 2015 Honda Civic went completely dead on me after trying to boost it thinking the battery was going dead, which it was but it was mostly severe corrosion. I was told by the tow guy that it wasn’t the battery it was a fuse (although I did have to replace the battery later). This part matched exactly. I could not find it in other stores locally. They only had the tiny fuses. This was exactly what I needed to get back going. As an FYI, stick with the Honda battery and don’t divert. I called myself trying to be a little money conscious and I got a AAA battery. Big mistake! I ended up with a lot of corrosion and a battery that lasted only 2 years. If you find your Honda is slow to crank, have the battery checked first. If it ends up completely dead, check your fuses. Read more
