These Gerber cotton shorts are great quality and value. The fabric is on the thicker side. Since we live in a climate that stays between 80 and 85°F year-round, I do wish the material is a little thinner. That said, the fit is excellent; the 2T works perfectly for my 27 lb toddler and provides enough room to grow and plenty of space for a diaper. The pockets are functional - perfect for pocketing the best pebbles/ treasure found on a walk. They also hold up well in the laundry, washing and drying without any shrinkage. I bought the dark blue, sky blue and grey set of shorts in size 2T for my toddler and i really like these for him. They are roomy compared to other 2T clothes he has and these have pockets. I love the colors and the cotton fabric material is soft and medium weight. The waist band is elastic non adjustable. The strings on the waistband are just for show lol but thats okay we dont need to use them. I love the quality of these shorts and they will last to pass down to my younger child. Great price too at about $5 a pair. Easy to put on as they are stretchy. Only negative is when they arrived they smelled strongly of air freshener or something. They smell came out after washing but since we dont use scents it was very off putting when they arrived, not sure why they smelled like that they didnt appear to be used and had the tag on. Very cute shorts for my 3 month old. Ordered the 3-6month size. He’s 14 lbs and it fits well. A little loose which I don’t mind so he has room to grow. Washed it only once so far before he wore them but they held up well in the dryer on low. Didn’t shrink. Fabric soft. The draw string is just for show so you can’t tighten the waist. I bought the Gerber Baby Boys’ Toddler 3-Pack Pull-On Knit Shorts and honestly they’ve turned into one of the things I use the most in my baby’s closet. They’re super simple but really practical for everyday wear. The fabric is soft and lightweight, which is great for warm weather. My baby seems really comfortable in them and they’re easy for him to move around in whether he’s crawling, playing, or just hanging out. I also like that they’re pull-on style because it makes diaper changes quick and easy. When you’re dressing a wiggly baby, simple is always better. One of the main reasons I like this pack so much is the colors. They’re very neutral and match with almost every bodysuit we have. I find myself reaching for these shorts constantly because they go with so many different outfits. Instead of trying to match shorts to every top, these pretty much work with everything, which makes getting dressed a lot easier. They’ve also held up well so far after multiple washes. The fabric still feels soft and they haven’t lost their shape, which is important since baby clothes get washed a lot. The only thing I wish was different is the waistband. It’s just elastic and not adjustable. It would be nice if there was a drawstring or some way to adjust the fit, especially for babies who are between sizes.
