I purchased this for the door to my basement shop. Keys would be inconvenient, but I needed to start locking the shop due to my kids. Both my wife and I need routine access. I also purchased the WiFi hub for remote access. This lock was very easy to install and configure. The fingerprint sensor is very accurate and fast. The battery seems to last a while -- I installed this over 2 months ago, and with repeated daily use, still has a 65% charge left. The app works well, although once configured, isn't necessary for daily use. I already have a Eufy ecosystem in my home, but most of the electronic locks on the market would require additional mounting space on the door than a traditional mechanical lock would, which is how I stumbled upon this model. I just installed this lock, paired with a GHome WiFi gateway. Installation and setup was quick and easy. The fingerprint sensor works well for me. Downsides: The lock/gateway is not compatible with Alexa/Google Home or any other smarthome system. You must use the GHome or Tuya app. So options for Alexa routines combined with other devices is off the table. Also, adding other fingerprints is cumbersome as each user must have their own GHome account. Wish it came in brass. Addition: I've been using the knob for a week now. No problem with the fingerprint, but the app will only unlock the knob about half the time. It doesn't matter if I'm standing right next to it with Bluetooth on, or trying to unlock remotely via the WiFi gateway. This tells me that all commands have to be verified by the server and that's where the problem lies. I consider this a very unsafe condition, as a big part of my reason for having this is to automate unlocking in a medical emergency. Read more

I have two of these installed on interior doors. It’s been two months and they’ve worked flawlessly so far. However, I have prepared myself that these will inevitably fail at some point. Maybe tomorrow, maybe next year, but I feel like that’s the nature of this type of product. We shall see, and I have the keys stashed accordingly in case of emergency. They installed easily, worked exactly as advertised. Turns out I already had their app for some other smart plug I had. So far, I absolutely love the doorknobs and recommend. I will likely update this review if I have a problem in the future. I would not install these on an exterior door and don’t know if they’re recommended for that purpose. The technology seems a bit fragile for weather and temperature exposure. I do think they feel like very good quality and design, especially for the price, but seem appropriate for interior doorknobs. Honestly, I expected more cheap imported, knock-off junk from Amazon. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality. I was (sadly) not paid for this review. I would definitely buy from this brand again. I picked these mostly for looks since both doors they’re installed on are French doors and I wanted the most subtle smart option since it needed to look minimally obtrusive with the other knob. UPDATE: changing from 4 star to 5 star, even though my past critique is still valid, honestly the product is so convenient, the scanner is just the right level of picky about your finger print, what i really wanted to talk about was how it operates. so on the inside of your locked home, you can twist the door knob and the door will open, without having to do anything other than setting the mode to pass through. and when you close the door behind you... the door is still locked, this is great i like this. another thing is that after unlocking the door the door will lock behind you, i cant name a single reason why anyone wouldnt like this feature, it lets me open my front door, and close it and not have to fiddle with anything else. its a great quality of life product. ---- Does what's intended Main selling points are the auto lock feature and rechargeable battery.
