I am officially converted. I fell in love with these cotton waffle bath towels and can never go back to fluffy towels again. I’ve actually been using this style of towel for about 12 years, and these are exactly why I stick with them. They’re thin and lightweight but still very absorbent, and they dry incredibly fast. No more heavy towels staying damp forever or developing that musty smell. They feel clean, breathable, and spa-like every time I use them. They also take up much less space in the washer and linen closet, which is a huge bonus. If you like towels that dry quickly, feel light, and actually do their job, these are a great choice. Highly recommend. Read more
Dry time - very quick. Unfold, lay it out, give it an hour, maybe flip it. If it is saturated, completely unfold it. Only air dried so far. Volume - fits in my gym bag with room for: 1 pair of sneakers, a 2L toiletry bag, and a change of clothes. Basically, it is not fluffy and will not take up all the space in your gym bag. Surface Area - Length: covers me from head to toe (5’ 7”). Width: armpit to knee when I wrap myself in it. Color - purchased gray. same color irl as in picture. Feel/touch - pleasant [feels rough on sensitive (sunburned) skin] but otherwise it has my approval. Stitching - 95% perfect right angles and boarders, some loose string along seams Durability - Waffle pattern appears to naturally be at risk of snags - avoid brushing the towel against rough surfaces. No lint Love it - worth the money. Read more
Lightweight, absorbent, nice and big, useful. A little odd on the towel rack but haven't invested time to figure out how to solve that. Dries so much faster than my regular towels. Read more
Incredible towel. Light yet extremely absorbent Read more
No more terry-cloth towels for me! These towels absorb water instead of pushing it around. It puzzled me why so many Europeans used, what appeared to be, big dish towels. Why not use the plush terry instead? Then, on a whim, I bought 2. Just 2. I thought they would be unpleasantly rough. They are actually soft enough to dry your face. But they also give you a bit of a massage whilst exfoliating, in an invigorating way. And, they get you dry fast. My hair is waist-length so I use 1 for that, too. Again, much more absorbant. And, no more smelly towels because they didn't get dry!! This is my 3rd purchase, and it's for my son who lives off-grid. This towel is big enough for someone 6'3, and sturdy enough to dry on a tree branch. This turqoise is a beautiful, intense color, too. My cupboard is no longer stuffed with towels; all I need is 2. Washes really well keeps its color It is totally absorbent. I highly recommend this because it does not keep odors in the material and it folds up really nice and small and yet it’s totally absorbent. Read more
These are seriously the best towels! They take a minute to get used to if you haven’t used one before. They dry you so fast! They dry themselves so fast! You don’t get that lingering towel smell! Do your guests a favor and buy them for your guest bathroom too! I’ve taken to packing one in my suitcase when I travel! They pack small and nothing beats having the proper size towel when you are a fluffy girl on the go! I can’t recommend these enough! Bite the bullet. Spend the money. They are worth it! Last towels you will ever buy! Read more
Well made and nicely finished edges. Doesn't seem to pull like some do. I've washed it several times trying to soften it up and it's still a bit stiff and scratchy. I've felt much softer waffle towels and have several blankets from Peacock Alley that are very soft and cuddly. I've always used Matouk Milgro bath sheets but wanted to give this one a try. I chose this one due to the oversized bath sheet size as they all do shrink a bit and was hoping this might hit the spot. I'm not giving up just yet but it probably won't be my go to bath sheet. It absorbs well, washes and dries without much lint or shedding. The white has stayed a bright while in the length I've had it. Read more
