I must have very independent chin hairs. Each wants to be cut in their preferred direction. A one swipe and my chin is hairless isn't going to happen. And I have facial features which won't accept pressure. If I attempt to press too much I have a time consuming bleed to deal with. So, if I do this right for me, I get a smooth non lethal shave.
