I don't want to say you CAN'T cut yourself with this thing, but I will say it's almost impossible. Even with no guard. Areas I normally have to be VERY careful on, I don't worry about at all with this trimmer. The one time I somehow managed to bleed, the cut was so minor I literally felt nothing and just noticed a tiny dot of blood. For me to leave a review says something. I usually do not. It works very well, is VERY safe, and the thing stays charged for quite a long time. It's comfortable in hand and does not slip when using. The charger is nice as well. Very easy to use.
