If you are looking for Gillette Sensor 2, or even Gillette Good News, WITHOUT the lubricating strip, these are those. I'm glad to find them from these sellers because this is the only listing that is actually still without the lubricating strip. (I think there are boxes of 30 Good News razors available, but I'd rather have packets of 12 each.) If you order enough at a time, the shipping cost becomes worthwhile. Read more

To be honest, have not yet used my new package of GoodNews razors, but have bought them locally, just got a better deal via Amazon and so made the investment. Using my Rewards/Discout Charge Card points, the package of 12 ea GoodNews razors at a total of $1.40, was a good investment. Whatdoyathink? They work great and for me, these twelve oughta last me at least a year, since I use them after stepping out of the shower and by beard is super soft from the heat. No sweat for a clean shave after that soaking. Cannot beat this deal with a straight razor and a spoiled barber!!!! Read more

Although the packages I received were labeled "Sensor 2" as pictured with item, the razors are indeed the original Gillette Good News style (twin blades, no pivot, no strip) that I've been using for many years. The package is not the same as what's shown here. First, there is NOT a "Good News" stamp in the upper left corner. The words "Good News" are not on the package at all. Second, the package is NOT resealable and the red stripe containing those words does not exist. Finally, the razor itself feels like a knockoff. I've used Good News razors for as long as I can remember and these razors feel lightweight and cheap. Now for the Pros. No lubrastrip. I always hated that. No pivot. Pivoting makes it difficult to edge my goatee and other close areas. Shaves really close - as close as the real thing. I definitely will buy these again. I would have rated 5 stars but I'm offended by the false advertising. Read more
