These scooter skirts from Approved School Wear seem to be of excellent quality and feel like they will definitely last a good while, which is exactly what you want for school uniforms. The attached shorts underneath are an absolute must-have, at least for my daughter, who has a tendency to break out into cartwheels at any given moment! I did order a size 7 for my 6.5-year-old daughter, but unfortunately, they are simply too big for her right now. She's on the smaller side for a 6-year-old, but I was still surprised at how large the size 7 turned out to be. So, she hasn't been able to wear them to school just yet. However, I am still very happy with the overall quality of the skirts, and I have no doubt that they will become a staple in her school wardrobe once she grows into them. These skorts seem to be well made and the stitching is well done. I sized up so that my daughter would have them for the fall but they do fit her now. Right now she's wearing size 10-12 pants and shorts and these are 14-16 . The elastic is really stretchy so I am sure they are going to fit her for a while. I will update if I have any issues. The shorts are that crunchy material. They are wide that they make my child look like she has something under her skirt: the size 7 looks like it’s too big when she is a 7 in everything. Ordered these for my daughter to wear to school. I like that it has shorts attached to it. The quality is good but could be better. It fits true to size and the elastic on the waist makes it very comfortable to wear. It came nicely packed and was delivered on time. My daughter likes it and hopefully will get use out of it. these are fine for a uniform, i wouldn't have them worn outside of a school setting. The fabric is a little stiff and rough and they do run bigger than the usual skorts for uniforms. My daughter is between a 14 and16 and I bought these in a 16. They are more like an 18 so they run long and wide. I will hold on to them for her for next year in the hopes that she'll grow into them. I don't like th elook of super short skirts, but the way these fall are right at the knee which makes the shorts underneat a bit uncomfortable. They come in a pack of two which is nice since we usually get at least 5 different bottoms to have for the week of school uniforms. Read more
