You can never have too many chargers, especially a versatile one like this with 40 watts that can be used for many devices. I like having the integrated USB-C cable because that's one less thing to pack. The prongs fold down to save on space which is appreciated when packing light. I wish the integrated cable was a little longer but that's the sacrifice they had to make so it fits into the charging case. It has an additional USB-C port so with an extra cable I can charge multiple devices at the same time. I used this charger on my last trip and I have no complaints. Read more

At 2.75 x 2.5 x 1.1 inches, this 40W GaN charger with retractable USB C cable is replacing my previous 4-port charging block. It's slightly bigger, but weighs about the same. While my old charger is also 40W, it's from several generations back. So with this new one, I am now getting Super Fast Charging on my Z Fold 6, both from the retractable cable and from the additional USB C port. In terms of number of ports, it technically is a downgrade from 4 to 2, but in practice I've been traveling with a 4 in 1 charging cord (https://amzn.to/3Gt61U7) already to reduce the number of cables I pack. I'll have to look for a USB C to C version now. The retractable cable measured 33 inches on mine (vs the 31.5 claimed on the product page). To make the cable retractable, it's a ribbon style cable. The spring loaded retraction is quite fast, and the head of the cable snaps into place on the side of the charging block thanks to a small magnet, which is not strong enough to cause stress on the head when you are pulling the cable out for use. This whole mechanism is where I expect failure over time - so if you are rough on your cables, then maybe this charging block isn't for you. From a finish standpoint, this charging block is not as refined as some of the others I've had. It's blocky, without the rounded corners (but not sharp enough to scratch). It's multicolor and the gray part has a different texture, but inexplicably doesn't feel "premium" - but I am a more of a function over form guy, and this is a winner from a function standpoint. Great for using the cable to dedicate that 40w max which you can get either Fast Charge or even Super Fast charge depending on the type of Samsung device and their charging capability/settings etc . I do like that there is an option for a secondary port, that is a big plus in case the cable eventually becomes defective, you have another port you can use to get that 40w, but for now I'm using the cable plus another device on the secondary port, perfect for overnight charging. Another big plus is the foldable plug receptacle that makes this even more smaller and portable. This charger works very well and takes very little space on your bag or maybe cargo pants pocket and you can power on the go. Great value for the money. Read more

This thing is pretty slick and a reasonable price for what it is. The included USB-C internal cord works great and spools in and out smoothly. The power plug prongs fold back into the unit for travel. It has enough watts to charge a Galaxy s25 Ultra at the highest rate. Have been using this for a few weeks now and works great. You can get cheaper 40w usb c chargers, I have a couple, and they feel cheap. This one is worth the money to me, and despite the vine, if something happened to it would rebuy this one. Read more
