I really like these pants. The wide leg sweatpants fit exactly like I would want them to, low wasted, and right on my hips. I can wear them to class and feel confident that they will continue to look cute and keep me warm without being too hot. The drawstring allows me to adjust them and, most important, stays tied. The wide leg is comfortable and is the perfect length for me. The cotton is soft and very durable. They also have great pockets, which is important since I spend time running around campus and don’t always want to carry a bag with me. I do feel they fit true to size and the pants hold up really well in the wash, no fading or fuzzing. Read more
For sweatpants I found them to be on the thinner side and not super warm and comfy (compared to other similar type of pants). I also feel like sizing was a bit off, running on the smaller size; usually I'm between a medium/large and these fit snug in areas. They're basic sweatpant style and still work for casual/around the house/going to bed pants, however I don't think I'd wear them out as I feel like you see every line. Also due to the thin-ness I would say they'd be better for summer/early fall or late spring, as I don't feel they'd keep you warm enough if it was really cold. Read more
I tend to be a leggings girl but I was looking for a pair of casual loose sweatpants that I could wear when I am chilling at home or out to run errands on my days off. First, I should mention that I’m short- a bit under 5’2”, and I weigh 125 pounds. I am usually a size 6-8 in pants and I got these in a size Small. Sweatpants are almost always too long on me, so I was taking a little bit of a risk with these. One thing that drew me to these was that they are 100% cotton. Upon receiving these, I was a little bit disappointed at the feel of them. I thought they were kind of stiff feeling, and I decided to wash them to soften them up and also possibly shrink them a little bit. I washed them in cool water and I did put them in the dryer, like I said, in hopes of shrinking them a bit. Unfortunately, when I took them out of the dryer, the string around the waist had come unraveled and frayed, and the knots were no longer there. Not too big of a deal, I’m going to cut the frayed part off and re-knot them. Still, I was pretty surprised that that happened after one washing. However, they did shrink a bit, which was good in my case, since it shortened the length of the pants legs somewhat. Please note that these are not super soft. They are fairly comfortable, but if you are used to super soft sweatpants that have the fleece inside, you may be disappointed with these. The inside is not soft like fleece would be… it’s a little rough textured- I would say it’s closer to a terry cloth material, but thinner and flatter. I also felt that the pockets were in a little bit of an odd place. They are much further back than I am used to pockets being on pants, and sit right at the widest part of my hips, which to me makes them a little bit unflattering. However, I do like the lower cut, and I thought that they gave my somewhat flat butt a little bit of a shape. I don’t think that these sweatpants are a real stand out by any stretch of the imagination, but if you’re looking for 100% cotton sweatpants to lounge around in or for casual days off, then they might fit the bill for you. The GIVON wide-leg sweatpants have become my “don’t even think twice, just grab them” pants 😌. They’re 100% cotton, which you can actually feel soft but sturdy, that kind of fabric that gets better after each wash. The grey color is classic, not too light or faded-looking, and it pairs with everything. The fit hits that sweet spot between relaxed and flattering; roomy through the leg but not shapeless. The drawstring waistband cinches easily without twisting, and it actually stays tied small win but huge deal. The first time I wore them, I noticed how breathable they were. They keep you warm without overheating, which makes them perfect for lounging, errands, or even casual travel days. The cotton has a medium weight that hangs nicely, giving that effortless drape instead of clinging. The stitching’s clean and even, and the hems don’t roll or curl up after washing... They’ve got that “worn-in but never sloppy” feel easy to move in, soft against the skin, and durable enough for everyday wear. The pockets are deep (yes, deep enough for a phone), and they don’t bulge awkwardly. I’ve worn them with sneakers, slides, even a denim jacket, and they always look put together without trying. The low-waist cut gives a vintage vibe that’s comfortable but still modern. For pure comfort with a bit of style, these hit the mark. They’re not see-through, they don’t pill, and the cotton quality feels like they’ll last a long time. I ended up ordering a second pair because they’re just that easy to live in. If you want everyday pants that feel like a hug but still look intentional, these are it 👖☕... Read more
I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with these wide leg sweatpants. On the positive side, the material is fantastic, 100% cotton, soft, and breathable. They don’t make me feel overheated like fleece sweatpants do, and the inside is smooth and comfortable rather than fluffy or heavy. The waistband is stretchy and includes a drawstring cord, which makes it easy to adjust, and I really appreciate that they have pockets. I also like that they sit lower on the hips rather than being high-rise. The downside for me is the fit. I’m 5’9” and about 150 pounds, and when I wear these pants on my hips as intended, they’re too short — the hem hits about 2–3 inches above the tops of my feet. For a wide-leg style, that length looks a bit awkward. I also expected them to be more fitted through the hips and thighs like in the photos, but they’re looser than I thought and end up looking a little frumpy on my frame. Overall, great fabric and comfort, but the proportions just don’t quite work for my height and shape. Read more
