This Glenslave Summer Balaclava is a good value. Made of comfortable quality material, great for keeping your head cool in the summer. Soak it in cold water, wring it out and wear it. It will keep your head cool. My summers can get hot and dry, so it’s great to wear it when I’m out in the midday sun. The opening is large enough to accommodate my sunglasses, which make them easy to wear. I think they would come in handy in the winter too if I’m outside plowing snow. It’ll keep my face warm. 50/50 for me. Keeps me a little cooler but i don't truly think i can where it all day long as im pushing shopping carts at work. I will say they did keep in mind those who wear sunglasses when making these. They have slots for the ear pieces on glasses so thats a plus where its not squeezing the glasses on your head even more. The fit isnt bad either which i was surprised on. I normally feel like my head is being compressed to heck and back but these actually have some comfort to them which for once i was relieved. I cant say i regret my purchase but nor am i 100% satisfied. I will be doing some more testing with them to see what happens at work. Read more

Been wearing these for work outside. It's been hot here in AZ this summer. These were breatheable and comfortable to wear. The fit was a bit to work with when it comes to my hair as it's long, but once I figured out how to wear my hair, these were nice to wear. Definitely meant for those not with longer hair if you want to use the top portion. But in terms of function, it worked great. Was able to keep cool and keep working.
