I am happily and surprisingly pleased with this standing lamp! I read many great reviews but still wondered if a product this inexpensive could really be good quality. The lamp components were very well wrapped and packaged. As others have said it went together super easy, with pieces of the pole fitting tightly together. The gold tone has no blemishes that I can see. Yes the shade is small-ish, and it's too bad the advertising doesn't state dimensions for each shade. This shade is about 9" across, which suits my little corner just fine. It's very pretty, and I love the options available on the remote. I will say that on carpet the stand is not very stable...maybe this would be different on a hard surface. But in a corner where it won't be bumped, it should work great. I bought the extended warranty "just in case," mostly concerned that the remote or wiring might go out. But for the price I'm very happy. Read more
I'm in love with this lamp. I rarely leave reviews but I'm making an exception for this item. It was really easy to put together. It has a nice sturdy base. The shade is beautiful and being able to change the color of the bulb from white to amber is awesome. Love the remote and being able to make changes from clear across the room. It came in two days. It is very top heavy, make sure to follow all directions as it will tip over. It does not screw all the way in tightly which causes it to not face the intended way to distribute weight. Base is too thin for weight of glass shade. It did tip and break part of the glass shade. The lamp shade itself is beautiful but the stand makes it look cheap.I like the remote features with kelvin settings (warm cool pure white) it has settings for night, reading, bottle feeding etc. It is the perfect height. Cord is adequate and has a step to turn on and off button. An updated version with a heavier base would be make this 5 stars. Read more

I saw a few reviews since I purchased my lamp. A couple complained about an $80 price tag. I don't blame them. For some reason, this lamp was listed at $50 when I ordered. It's well worth that. There are no cons, only a few pros. The remote with all the functions is great for my needs, because I'm using it on my porch as a light for a few plants. It's decorative and easy on the eyes.
