These slippers are wonderfully warm and comfortable (but not too warm). Love them. I am normally between size 8-8.5 and ordered 8 (euro size 38) first. The fit was snug but just too tight in the toes. I know they would stretch but didn’t want the toes to wear out too fast. Reordered a pair of 8.5 (euro size 39) and these are perfect. Read more

So comfy! I’ve been wearing shearling moccasins for a couple of years. They are mainstream (Aussie) brand, and very comfortable. But it was time for something different. I wanted more of a bootie style, perhaps without shearling lining the entire slipper. I came across a review of this brand in a major metropolitan newspaper, and decided to give them a try. I chose the rubber sole, rather than the leather sole, because I tend to wear these all day long, including out to the mailbox and sometimes out into the shed in the back yard. I didn’t want an absorbent sole. I ordered my usual size (women’s 9), and they’re perfect. They have a shearling insole, which is soft and fluffy. There’s some small amount of arch support, as well. The boiled wool upper is wonderfully thick and is somewhat snug around my foot. I don’t mean that negatively, just that it is not loose. I expect it will conform to my foot shape the more I wear them. I chose the shoe style of this slipper, rather than the boot style, because I anticipate wearing them in at least three seasons. I feared the boot style would be too warm for the shoulder months. The sides of the slipper are at about the middle of my ankle bone. There’s no discomfort from rubbing or chafing against the bone. The back of the slipper does not rub against my tendon, or otherwise cause discomfort. The first time I put them on, I did have to use my fingers as a shoehorn. I expect I will have to do that for a while, until they conform to my foot shape. The color is a rich cranberry and is simply beautiful. I look forward to wearing these for years to come. Read more

WOW, wow and wow again! We have hard wood floors so we're in our "house shoes" most days - and as retirees - truly most of most days too. I had house shoes - leather with rubber soles (no lining) for five years. They were terrific - and had worn out. I wanted a bit more warmth - and after doing a lot of research settled on these - great recommendations - and they have been fantastic over the course of the first month. DREAMY comfortable and beautifully warm - and no lining to wear away. Great value for the money - very durable and feel great. 10/10 Read more

These are the warmest most comfortable indoor and light outdoor use shoes/slippers I have been able to find. I’ve had a couple of pairs of Ugg slippers and these are warmer. I love them. They cost a little more than the rest but they are worth it. Read more

I have spent years wishing for some slippers that are as close to slip-on as possible, but living in N Florida, I don’t need the super fleece variety. I chose these b/c reviewers said they don’t make one’s feet hot, but still provide a bubble of warmth. Since I think of wool as temperature regulating, I decided to pay my money and see. I wanted the rubber bottom so I can go outside if necessary. I love these, sure enough, my feet stay warm w/o getting hot. After scouring reviews re sizing (being between sizes) I chose the smaller size and it’s perfect. They say not to wear socks with these and I find that mostly to be true. Every so often when I’m really cold I use socks. Since this is felted wool, they will slowly degrade, particularly the top of the slipper as I put my foot into it, but I try to be gentle when I do this, and they are holding up well. I took off one star b/c like a few other reviewers, the rounded bottom is just slightly less comfy than I imagine a more squared off heel would be. Recommend!! Very happy with these. Read more

The slipper shoes are comfy. I like the rubber sole - it provides a solid bottom and is nice if I want to head outdoors. Read more

I hate socks. So I purchased a pair some time ago with rubber soles from ebay & thought they were only meh. Based on my foot measurement, I purchased size 39. They were easy to get on/off but felt just a little big. My feet didn't slide around but the wool didn't really touch my skin. Even with the space, they warmed my feet as I wore them. I'd walk to my car, drive to the office & wear them there. They were ok. There was no real wear to the wool or the rubber sole. Then, I read an article where the author said that they should fit like a warm hug (over time, they stretch a bit). The light bulb turned on. So, I recently picked up a second pair in the next smaller size. And they feel incredible. Having the wool surround & touch your foot makes such a difference. Now, for those who get holes in the toes, I'm thinking that the toe is pressing against the wool in front. With my heel against the wool back, I have about 3/4 inch from the tip of my big toe to the wool. I plan on keeping it that way. That may be why some people get holes (it is only boiled wool after all, not leather). Anyway, the wool should "hug" your foot. If it doesn't it's too big. The larger size still keeps my feet warm & they'll be my office pair. Mine may actually last because I have 2-pairs now. I DID buy the most discounted priced pair from Amazon. I'll be very happy to get a few years out of these slippers. What started me on slipper shopping was that my kids got me a pair of UGG Coquettes for Christmas 2022 & most of the shearling was GONE from the foot bed by Christmas 2023 (and the UGGs were purely in-house slippers!) I hope these Glerups last longer. I paid less for these Glerups (discounted sale price) than my kids' paid for the UGGs. I'll update this review if they fall apart. I intend to wear them in warmer months too because I have cold feet. Buy them ON SALE! Read more
