I purchased this product to help with my dry eye condition. I will not know if it is working until I see my optometrist for my next office visit. The only thing that is discomforting is that there is wet sweat on both of my eyes upon removing the mask. But other than that I like the heat it is not to hot, it is just warm enough. I will continue to order this product until I hear from my eye doctor to see if there is any marked change in my dry eye condition.Thank you for this product it is so much better than using warm wet compresses. These are fantastic. I get chalazians on my upper eyelids. Doctors always suggest using warm compresses on the eye. But trying a wet washcloth or even the microwaveable rice filled ones dont keep the heat for long. These stay warm for 30 minutes! They are comfortable to wear and easy to use. Love these!! These were much better than expected, providing good heat for far longer than the 15-20 minutes as advertised. However, they did not come with the advertised ear loops to keep them in place, so they simply sat on the face without touching the eyes unless they were held in place the entire time. That rather defeats the purpose of using them for eye relief while a passenger in a car/plane who wishes to relax or take a nap. Perhaps they could be placed underneath a sleeping mask which would keep them in place and provide the needed weight to get them next to the eyes, but the requirement for air circulation might kill the heat.
