The chefs knife has been rated as a, if not the top knife. I ordered these and have never looked back. They are sharp and hold an edge. They are fantastic to work with , exceptionally well balanced, light weight and easy to clean. I have the cut fingers as proof. My adult children have the cut fingers. I have picked up additional knives from global , all excellent. The hardest part has been identifying the handles, blade angles and types I need as someone who cooks daily. I would recommend going to a store that carries them and feel out the handles,if you are sensitive. I bought the serated knife (6”) instead of the larger bread knife and it has been a workhorse and a proven great utility, from bread, sandwiches to tomato’s.
