I bought these boots to replace a similar pair I bought at Target way too many years ago and whose faithful service I appreciate more than I can express. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of my new boots, but I remained skeptical as to how they would actually fit/feel. I tried them on immediately upon retrieving them from my porch (without socks) and immediately noticed I would be able to wear "normal" weight socks with ease! My hereditary ancestry tends to the, shall we say, Hagrid-esque, and finding moderately priced shoes that accommodate my voluptuous feet is often frustrating, but these babies are a rare treasure. Their debut was in a brief social call to my fully-vaxxed and boosted relatives wherein I did not sit down. My new boots were more than up to the task. No rubbing, pinching, or soreness ensued. I'm not sure these would be appropriate footwear for more labor-intensive efforts such as mountain climbing or triathlons, but if one is kicking around town, then these boots are a stylish, comfortable way to do it. Short version: They fit great and we’re awesome for not quite a month. And then the heels cracked apart and ruined the soles. Don’t waste your money!! Long version: I bought these boots on sale, and was absolutely thrilled with them. I wore them everywhere, every single day, for about a month. And they fit perfectly, were great outdoors, were sooo comfortable. I was in love. Until suddenly I realized that the heel to my boot was no longer supportive. And it was oddly squishy. So I checked it out, and discovered that the entire heel and base of my boot was cracked. The entire sole had torn. So I checked the other boot, and discovered it was even worse. So, I filled them with shoe goo, and figured I could just wear them as chore boots, or for things where I might get dirty. But, I mostly quit wearing them after that. But I wore them a few more times over the next couple months, and discovered this morning that even though I had glued them back together, the heel on my left boot has almost completely torn off. So, if you plan to wear them once or twice every few months, they might be great boots. But if you’re looking for a cute pair of boots to wear often, these are not the boots. I’m really disappointed in them. And, I’m also really glad I got them on sale. Because if I had paid $50+ for them, only for them to last barely a month, I would be pissed. Read more
