This lantern impressed me with its look, build quality, and efficiency. The light itself is sleek, and the buttons on top are easy to find in the dark, as they are a bit recessed. It’s made of a polycarbonate that feels strong and I have no concerns of it breaking if it takes a drop or gets bumped around. It is lightweight, yet feels solid. The battery life is incredible, and I like that it has well-spaced brightness levels so you have options to save battery life with a lower setting, or go bright when you need the extra light. Having three color temperatures (warm, neutral, and cold white) increase its versatility even more, and I love that all three can use any of the brightness levels. On top of it providing ample lighting, it can be used as a power bank, which makes it perfect for camping and power outages. I would have no problem recommending this light to anyone. I never review items, though I am often happy with them. This lantern, however, inspired me to actually write a delighted review. I LOVE it. The construction is solid, feels well made and sturdy in hand. The materials are pleasing to touch and hold ~ the silicone strap, the frosted body, the cylindrical shape, all so texturally interesting. The controls are uncomplicated, direct, impossible to misinterpret ~ ON/OFF, 3 color temperatures and 5 levels of brightness, each at a satisfying fingertip pressure control. These features surely make this lantern a great value for money; however, the main reason I love this lantern is that the glowing light that the LEDs emit are soft and feel somehow sentient, like I am carrying a small luminous being with me, a guide lighting the way, a warm and comforting friendly presence, a representative of all light everywhere... I recently took it on a date and lit it in the darkened cabin of the car for a few minutes, and while it was distracting to the driver and I turned it off, it was a charming companion for those brief moments. I highly recommend this lantern to anyone wanting a light source to illuminate the shadows, or for poetic campers, lovers, seekers of symbolic meaning in the mundane. We have tent camped, travel trailer and Motorhome camped for nearly 20 years. I have owned a lot of different camping lights. This is my favorite camping light. It’s very light weight, easy to carry handle, looks attractive and most importantly the light is bright. It has different shades of white light and different brightness. It is so easy to carry it can be used around the campsite and around the house in the dark or at night. It charges fairly quick and holds a charge for a king time. I will be buying more to set outside on the tables at our campsites. It has a light rubber handle and the body seems to be made out of durable plastic. We have purchased rechargeable lanterns from Goal Zero (expensive) and Ayl (returned them). These seem to be a great value for the money. They are solidly built, recharge quickly, and function well. We like the size and the varying levels of brightness. Just what we were looking for. Read more

I bought one a few weeks ago. Seems solid. The 3 different temperatures of light and 5 different brightness levels are nice. Buttons are tactile and high quality. Battery lasts a long time. Not sure about longevity, but after initial inspection and use, I liked it enough that decided to buy two more. Read more
