Love this product. It's wide enough to cover both side of the book when reading with enough light which can be adjusted to suit your reading needs. Love that it's rechargeable so you don't have to worry about batteries dying and having to replace them. Such an improvement over my small non adjustable one that needed batteries replaced which is why I decided to see what Amazon had rather than having to go out and buy more batteries. I read a night in bed and don't like having to have the main room light or lamp on that I'd have to get up and turn off. This book light has been a game-changer for my bedtime reading routine! I was pleasantly surprised by how incredibly long-lasting the battery is and while I haven't gotten close to advertised 90 hours, since I don't use the light on low...I've been easily getting about 15-20 hours of use in the bright light mode, over several weeks use, before requiring a recharge. So, while I'm not using it for reading, I can say that it would certainly work well for that purpose. The 5 levels of color "temperature" are appreciated, from pure warm amber to pure cold white. You should be able to find a comfortable color for your task. Then there are the light levels, from pretty dim to pretty darned bright. Again, you should be able to find a level that suits your task. The fact that the on/off button is separate, and the color temp and brightness each have their own buttons is welcomed. I'm not a fan of mode buttons that control everything, but you have to press it 25 times to find your setting. It's simple to operate, nice & wide for good coverage, and versatile. I haven't had it very long yet, so I can't speak to durability, but so far, so good.
