I’m not sure why it’s so difficult to find these Gloria Vanderbilt capris anymore but I’m sure happy I found them on Amazon! The fabric is smooth cotton that does not shrink or fade. I have a very old pair of these Gloria Vanderbilt capris that were literally falling apart. I couldn’t find them anywhere. Every newer version has spandex or some other combination. Every so often I did a search for them and one day found them here. These are the original all cotton version. Yes, they are baggy, but I like that. I love that they are cotton and well made. So, these are still 100% cotton which is great, and the same baggy lightweight GV's we all know and have seen for years. But since last year, GV decided to make the waist not only smaller where I have a hard time getting over my hips, let alone waist. It wouldn't be so bad if the elastic wasn't this heavy duty hard to stretch elastic. Basically, I'm choking my waist. This is ridiculous, these are supposed to be comfortable cropped pants. I've had this same size medium just last year or so in other colors and they weren't so tight waisted. GV needs to know who their clientele are and it's middle aged on up. And again, if the elastic were easier to stretch, it wouldn't be such a big deal. This was a good buy and a color I don't have in the pale sky blue so disappointed in GV doing this. Read more

They seem very nice although I have not washed them yet so I don't know if they will shrink or not. But remember, Gloria Vanderbilt waist bands are always smaller than normal for a size. The elastic waist does not stretch much. These happen to be ok, but mostly I can't wear GV pants because I need more room in the waist. Read more

I have given up trying to buy pants on Amazon — except for these. They look and feel like they're made to order. A JOY. The only drawback is the shipping isn't covered by Prime. Still, I bought them anyway. SO GLAD I did! Read more
