The unit arrived well packed and protected, all accessories properly wrapped. This M7 small-factor PC packs an impressive punch, powered by AMD's Ryzen 7 Pro processor and 32GB of high-speed DDR5 RAM. Its designed for users who need serious computing performance in a compact footprint, I it's a 5" x 5" cube, that offers efficiency and connectivity without sacrificing power. Everyday computing tasks like web browsing, office applications, and multitasking feel effortless and smooth. Whether you're editing videos or working in Photoshop it handles the workflow. Lots of 4K video connections enable multi-screen, I’m currently on a single panel. Though this isn't a full gaming rig, me and my kid just tried a few of our Steam games, even some of the more resource intensive run with no issues, just watch for the video settings. I’m looking forward to connecting a GPU dock and test a spare RTX3060 on the OcuLink connection. You will never run out of memory here with the DDR5 32GB. As mentioned one of the standout features is it size. This small PC is ideal for users who need high performance in tight spaces, such as offices or home setups with limited desk space. The dual fan cooling design is quiet and doesn’t really interfere with our workflow. This specific configuration rocks with plenty of connectivity, including USB-C 4, HDMI, DisplayPort, and ample high-speed storage at 2TB Although this one is quite recent for us, this is our 4th GMKTec unit in the family and so far, so good with no issues to report. The early models with single fan run a bit on the hotter side but never gave up. Highly recommend this model if you are seeking versatility, performance and have limited space. This is also quite portable if you need to move it around the house or take it for the weekend get away with the kids, just remember to pack your HDMI cable just in case. Read more

Amazing computer in a little package. We bought two. One had a DDR stick go bad within the first 6 months. After contacting the seller, I sent them the bad stick and they sent a new one back to me. Both are working perfectly now. Very quiet. Minimal heat from the systems. Great speed. Good product and good company to work with. Read more

Elephant in the room, ram prices are nuts and a year ago this mini PC would have been a good mount less expensive since it has 32GB of DDR5 ram installed. That said, unless you have a time machine, any PC with 32GB of ram is going to be more expensive than it was last year. Even with the higher price, this is a very nice and potent mini PC. GMKtec keeps getting better and better with their case designs and this case is the best yet for both aesthetics and function. The all metal case looks real handsome and is well put together. Feels and looks high quality. The cooling is also better on this newer generation of case than their previous designs. This alone could be a reason to justify the higher priced ram. The fan is quiet and keep things very cool. At idle, the included 512GB M.2 SSD is about 35 degrees Celsius and I’ve not seen it go above 44 degrees under a load, during the creation of a Windows image which really works the storage. Windows runs tasks quickly and efficiently. Everything works as it should without drama. But what I wanted this for was to have a Proxmox PC to run some VMs and containers and this did not disappoint. Proxmox installed without issues and I was able to quickly get a couple VMs created and running and having the 32GB of ram helps a lot with that, especially while running multiple VMs. If you need a PC, even during this time of expensive system memory, you would do well with this little GMKtec K16. I am happy with it being an addition to my home lab. Read more
