This M7 Ultra has been a solid upgrade for my home office. I usually have tons of tabs open, video calls running, and documents going all at once—and it handles everything without breaking a sweat. The dual fans keep it cool and quiet, even after hours of use. I love the compact look; it fits perfectly next to my monitor without any clutter. Connecting to my dual screens was easy through the USB4 ports, and everything runs buttery smooth. Also, setting it up was a breeze—Windows 11 Pro was pre-installed and activated instantly when I went online. If you need a reliable, quiet PC for work and play, this is it! Read more

The media could not be loaded. Like many of us the time arrived to upgrade from Windows 10 but my outdated PC couldn’t be upgraded. I prefer desktops but the new Windows 11 models were outrageously expensive. So I did some lookin’ around and discovered the world of mini PCs. Based on other reviews I zoomed in on GMKtec, and this model Nuk Box M6 Ultra seemed to have all the capabilities I needed: Compact size, fast processor, SSD drives and DR5 memory. And with this model you can even upgrade the SSD and the memory. It also comes with built in WiFi and Bluetooth. I received the PC in a couple days, plugged it in and in minutes it was up and running Windows 11, though it did take a little time to connect to Microsoft and upgrade the software. The nice thing is that it only takes 22 seconds for the Windows desktop to appear after I turn it on! It is very fast and from the video I uploaded here you can see it not only supports 3 monitors but plays three video streams at the same time flawlessly without a glitch, stutter or freeze. I also had no problem with WiFi connectivity as the PC detected and connected to my WiFi quickly and seamlessly. There was also no evidence of overheating, and fan noise was hardly noticeable (my cat purrs louder). The sound though headphones and external amplified speakers was crisp without static or fuzziness. I can’t comment on the types of games you can actually play on the M6 as I’m not a game player but from other reviewers it seems they were quite satisfied with its performance. I was totally satisfied the number of browser windows I could open and programs I could run simultaneously. . The only thing I question are the inclusion of two LAN jacks as I don’t believe two are necessary or practical for home use. There is also no separate microphone input jack however that is easily overcome by using an inexpensive audio splitter cable or a USB microphone. Finally a live chat box would be nice for solving problems without having to play email tag. All in all,the M6 utlra performs like a little workhorse, and for the money, it’s a great value. Excellent tiny little computer! I was stunned when I realized just how small it is - but I love it. I've had it for a few months now and it's been flawless - it runs everything I've thrown at it. Doesn't run hot (though I must admit it sits on a perforated metal shelf so there's PLENTY of airflow). Keep in mind that I am not a gamer, so I can't speak to its strengths there. It runs Corel Graphics Suite and several other graphics programs easily, with no effort, and the usual roster of email, web browsers and Microsoft Office without a hiccup. I had never heard of the brand but I'd buy another now in a heartbeat. Read more

I was looking for a small PC that could handle some light gaming and office work, and this little machine delivers. The graphics are surprisingly good—I play Fortnite and Rocket League smoothly with no lag, and everything looks crisp on my 4K monitor. The design is sleek and tiny, barely takes up any space on my desk. What really impressed me is the OCuLink port—I might add an external graphics card later, but honestly, the built-in Radeon handles everything I need right now. It came with Windows 11 Pro, and activation took less than a minute once I connected to WiFi. Read more

I only needed a PC for my kitchen table, since my older one ran soon-to-be-unsupported Windows 10 and wasn't upgradeable to Windows 11. I'm wary of Chinese factory Windows installations, so I installed the Microsoft version using the media creation tool. There was no problem re-activating Windows 11 (Pro, if that matters) and driver installation was moderately painless. This PC is only used for web browsing and super light gaming, and it performs those tasks wonderfully. I get great download/upload speeds using the Wifi 6E band (see image), which was a nice addition to this little box. The GMKTEC PC comes with a VESA mount, so I have attached it to the back of my monitor, so even though this PC has a super small footprint, more room is always better. Fan noise under load is noticeable, but there's no whining or unusual sounds coming from the fan. I did remove the 512 GB SSD that came with this PC and replaced it with a 2 TB Samsung 990 Pro. I put the GMKTEC SSD in an external enclosure to use for backups. I had a notion to upgrade the memory in this PC, but so far the 16 GB (2 8 GB DIMMS) is sufficient for my needs. So, AT THIS TIME, I would give this PC five stars and feel I received value for the price paid. If anything unusual arises with this PC, I'll come back to amend this review. For right now, though--highly recommended. Edit 09/13/2025: See the second speed test after I upgraded my home network to WiFi 7. Read more
