Really happy with my purchase, the M8 is a little workhorse. I can confirm it comes with an activated Win 11 Pro. Even though GMK has never seen an issue, I have a ritual - I boot from USB and image the NVME fresh (after getting the Windows key from a command line just in case), then wipe the mini pc's NVME (deleting all partitions) and install Windows 11 fresh. Windows picked up the BIOS key automatically on install and launched right into a fresh Windows 11 Pro. Network and sounds drivers were missing, but I grabbed them from the Europe site (Google it) and ran the .bat file. Without a reboot, everything picked up and no yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager. Windows Update took about 20 mins, as I fresh installed the newest Win 11 version (25H2 as of this writing). So the PC itself is rock solid, no blue screens, streams OBS 4k just fine, and have no random crashes or reboots. It's a great Docker server or workstation PC if needed, runs Office just fine. I notice no loud fan noise. Can’t comment on Oculink, I don’t use it. If you're looking for an all-in-one on the Ryzen platform, this one is a good bang for the buck. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I was immediately very happy seeing how even the box the NucBox G10 comes in is well constructed and also shrink wrapped, showing care in packaging and integrity for the product. An HDMI cable was also included which is a nice touch. The top lid of the NucBox G10 pops off easily to reveal two M.2 2280 NVMe slots and two DDR4 2666 SO-DIMM slots for easy access. This is one of the few NUC mini PCs I've ever seen with multiple M.2 2280 NVMe slots, making M.2 NVMe external USB cases no longer necessary for copying or cloning between NVMe SSD drives. Perfect for keeping a spare NVMe SSD around for extra data storage within one convenient NucBox. The M.2 2280 NVMe SSD that comes with the unit even comes with a heatsink. After seeing this I'm updating my own standards to use always use heatsinks on my M.2 SSDs. I was pleased to see how GMK does not cut corners where reliability and quality matter. The unit is very compact, yet for connectivity has two USB3.2 ports, one USB2.0 port, one HDMI 2.1 output, one DP 1.4 output, and one USB-C that supports both power and data. So plenty of connectivity options including support for 3 monitors. For a recent release I somewhat expected WiFi6, so was slightly disappointed seeing how the unit comes with Wifi5 on the Realtek RTL8822CE. Bluetooth is 5.0 and the Ethernet LAN is 2.5G. Windows 11 Pro is included, and after confirming activation with digital license, I extracted drivers with dism then reinstalled W11 fresh from the official MS media creation tool. The fresh reinstallation very smooth and quickly completed within 1 hour. However, beyond that the Windows Updates take quite a while as expected from Microsoft. Once everything I needed was installed, I found this NucBox G10 mini PC with a Ryzen 5 3500U powerful enough to be my daily driver. I'm running VMware Workstation Pro with Kali on it and performance seems comparable to my existing older i5. Given the price point I found the performance quite amazing. I bought the GMKtec Mini PC G10 (3500U) because I wanted a full-featured PC that would not take up a lot of desk space. After using the Mini PC for a couple of weeks now, I am very happy with my purchase. First of all, it not only replaced my old desktop PC , but it is also much faster. For those interested in the GMKtec G10, here are some specifics… Performance: Very good. All my apps open fast without any issues. All the typical Windows, Google desktop and my other well-used programs operated smoothly. Also, for a small unit, it is very quiet. Video: Very good. I hooked mine using the HDMI port (it also comes with a HDMI cable) to my large screen TV. No problem. Set-up: Very easy. My GMKtec Mini PC G10 package came with a power cord, power adapter, and HDMI cable. The Mini PC connected easily to my home wi-fi. It also has a hard-wired LAN port for a wired connection. I simply disconnected my old pc system and plugged in the G10, and it was ready to go Size: Very small cube size. Looks like about 4 inches on each side Overall: I would highly recommend the GMKtec Mini PC G10. It is a good value and has very good performance. It has all the normal features a Windows PC should have; it connects to the internet easily; it has lots of ports for peripheral devices. with lots of USB ports. I would have given it 5 stars, if it had not became inoperable within a week. The problem was most likely due to a Windows update that removed necessary hardware definition files. With the help of GMKtec people, I was able to get it working again using their link to download a rescue utility. I created a bootable USB (ISO) on another computer. I re-booted the GMKtec with the Microsoft USB ISO starting with the least intrusive tool, then continuing on to the next level recovery tool within Microsoft "advanced utilities", until the problem was solved. I lost no files or programs or settings. This is a great little computer. I purchased this unit to run a once-a-year program that requires Windows 11. I added a second NVMe drive then installed the operating system that I trust for daily, efficient, flawless, and spy-free operation... Debian 13. Installing a drive on this computer is so easy...just pop off the top and insert it. This computer is as strong and functional as a Intel i5 series 8. For those who prefer an uncluttered desk, install this powerful, little box to the back of the monitor. Processing speed, graphics and storage are more than enough, even for power users.
