Works with a Kohler San Rafael elongated one-piece toilet

Finally, an attachable bidet that works with a Kohler San Rafael (K3397EB) elongated toilet. This one-piece toilet, which has a French curve behind the seat area, is tricky with bidet attachments as there is less room than on a two-piece toilet and it also is closer to the floor, making it more difficult to work on. I think later models of this Kohler elongated toilet are higher and easier to work on. This bidet installed well but with a tight area behind the toilet to the water source at the wall it meant using a different adapter than the one supplied. What I like about this is that it appears to be chrome over brass, a long-lasting bidet, I hope. The sprayer does tuck under the toilet rim. I did have a plumber install this bidet due to the fact that this toilet is very difficult to work on with bidet installations. Toilet model numbers are usually found stamped on the inside of the toilet reservoir. 1/7/18: This is the best bidet we have had yet. It's been a month since it was installed and we like everything about it. The water volume is easily adjustable and the arm swings well. Seems to be of excellent quality, unlike some others. Should last a good, long time. I really do prefer this to a free-standing bidet. Also, this one does not sit directly on the porcelain which can cause the china to be permanently etched, as we learned the hard way. This is an excellent product! Read more

Great bidet!

My parents have had these for over a decade, and I just installed my first. My plumbing experience is next to nil and I had little trouble. I would recommend four things that will make your life easier during installation and troubleshooting. 1. Watch the Bidet King video on YouTube. It was really helpful. 2. Plastic wrap the whole toilet seat before troubleshooting. The pressure setting is sensitive, and you are very likely to soak yourself or the ceiling. It is also nice to be able to run it at full pressure to see if there are any points on the housing that need to be tightened down. 3. Your own plumber’s tape. The included plumber’s tape just kept rolling in on itself and I quickly ran out. 4. 5/8 & 11/16 crescent wrenches for tightening the hoses and other fittings. As for the cleaning ability, I was impressed by the amount of pressure even though our house is older and has lower pressure. Getting clean should not be a problem. If you have fairly high water pressure, beware when you are first using it. You may clean way more than you intended. Seriously, with higher water pressure constipation is not an issue. It is possible to get replacement parts. This makes this unit a good choice for long term use. Read more

One great bidet

This is a great quality product. Made very well. The savings in toilet paper pays for the bidet. The multi hole head is so much better then just a single hole. Cleans great and gentle. Read more

NOT For One-piece French-curve Toilets!! And Poor Troubleshooting Points

Definitely NOT compatible with Kohler one-piece frendch-curve toilets! I should have more carefully read the 1-star reviews for this. Because of my bad back, I had my plumber attempt to install this unit. Initially he thought he had it OK until he turned it on the the T-valve leaked at the tank connection. Nothing he tried fixed that and he had to buy a different T-connector. That did eliminate the leak, but many more problems came afterwards. NOTE: After it was installed I complained to Go-Bidet about the leaky T-valve (which I have since seen that many people had trouble with). The reply from Go-Bidet was to send me a link ( which I'm not allowed to post here -- Google" GOBidet T-Valve Tightening" ) explaining HOW TO DISASSEMBLE AND ADJUST THE VALVE!! There is NO mention of that solution nor any link to the video in the troubleshooting section of the installation instructions but it is apparent that is not only a known but a common problem ---which they fail to mention in their product description or even in their instructions!! I believe that is just deceptive on their part.) But that was just the beginning of problems. When I tried sitting on the toilet seat, the supply arm to the bidet was pressed closed and would not move so I had to buy seat bumpers to raise the seat up and relieve that pressure (and bumpers don't work well unless the bottom of the seat is flat -- they fall off!!) THAT also meant I had to remove the toilet seat and then buy longer seat bolts and spacers before the toilet seat could be reinstalled. After all of that, on a Kohler one-piece, the spray will not go to the proper position but instead only swings barely to the middle of the bowl! Additionally, the whole assembly would not stay in place but slid around when trying to use the bidet. I am sure that, on the proper configuration of toilet, the bidet may be very satisfactory. It does seem to be well-made and of quality materials. But the product description should clearly say to won't fit and one-piece toilet with a french-curve tank! AND the troubleshooting should at least direct buyers to the uTube video on fixing the leaky T-valve. (I don't know why it only leaks for some people and not others but there should be a warning about it!) $200 in plumbing bills later, I am returning the Go-Bidet for a refund, which the company said would be my only option. They won't reimburse any expenses for failed installations. Read more
