I ordered these glass sets twice!! They are super heavy, not flimsy nor fragile. The golden rim is still shiny after being washed several times. Not like the glasses from Marshalls that break with just looking at them. I love these! Read more

These are attractive, very reasonably-priced highball glasses. Pros: the glass is thick. Cons: the glass is thick. It's nice that you don't have to worry about them shattering every time you touch them, as you might with other crystal, but the jelly-jar thickness of the glass might not be to everyone's liking. The gold rim looks like it will last a bit longer than most do -- a definite plus, since even a light wash cycle in most dishwashers can eventually wear away the gold. The cross-hatched texture on the bottom half of the glass makes for a good grip -- another definite plus if you're one who likes her whiskey tall. I also bought a set of the old-fashioneds; the above comments hold true for those as well. I was tempted to order from Macy's during their pre- and post-Chrismukah sales, but although their price for 4 glasses in either size was $30, they charge an audacious $10 for shipping, unless one purchases $99 worth of merchandise. Amazon's price was $37, but with the Prime membership, shipping was free. I just checked Macy's, and the sets are back up to $60 for 4. Amazon wins again! Read more
