I don't see what the big fuss is all about. If you read further down in the page under description session it says the paper is white. I can write on either white or ivory. Yes, the corners are not rounded as shown. But that doesn't get in the way of writing on quality paper. Same amount of sheets. Did not find they are more flimsy as previous ones I have purchased. And I have bought a lot. Used them while a very active journalist and around the house to keep thoughts separated and as my go-to for general note keeping. Plus I didn't hear anything about the superb deal on buying five instead of just one at $7.95 each. Come on people, lighten up. Use what you got and don't cut yourself on one of the square corners. I've been buying these pads for years. With this order I noticed the cover is flimsier that with previous orders. Also, this was advertised as having ivory colored paper, but the pads I received had white paper. I'm not sure if the inside paper is thinner as well, but it doesn't seem as smooth. Also, I had to work hard to find a decent deal on these. The price on an individual pad has doubled since I last ordered. Read more

These notebooks used to be very sturdy and Ideal for my outdoor needs. However I ordered the Ivory and they sent white pages, The labels on the cover look like a four year old pasted them on! none of the label on any of the 5 notebooks in my order were applied centered, straight or level and make the notebook look "cheep" ... which may seem trivial but I use there for research and archive them, I like to be proud of my work, I wish Ampad did as well, also many of the pages in each notebook are stuck together, the above has been true on my last three orders, They used to be Great, they are just sad now.... These pads have many uses. I use them very day, whether writing a note or for a shopping list and I even gave a couple to my grandson. He uses them to figure out his math homework. I also use these to list expenses for my business when I was doing my income tax. Great for everyday use. I am going to buy more. Read more

The quality of these notebooks has drastically declined over the last year or so. They get cheaper and cheaper with each batch. The paper color is no longer ivory, no sturdy cardboard cover anymore and the spirals are so flimsy they are always smashed beyond fixing which makes it nearly impossible to turn the pages without tearing them.
