Purchased the fixture with 18 lights. Beware you will have to assemble the fixture, as it’s shipped compactly. However, assembly is very easy. For the most part you’re screwing each branch into the center circle of the fixture. The next part is connecting covered wires, which is easy and doesn’t require professional help. However, installing the light (mounting and connecting to power source) may require professional help. We brought someone in and it took little to no time, as the fixture was already assembled and ready to mount. I would recommend warm or soft lighting, as it can be extremely bright. We installed a dimmer switch which has been so beneficial to control how much lighting we’d like. Our installation was on a flat surface, but the base allows for installation on any ceiling (I.e. slopes, etc.) and is flexible. It does hang low, but (I believe) it can be adjusted by removing a pole. It’s sturdy and good material for the buy. Between the fixture and lights we spent around $160. Great buy for the price IMO. Fits perfectly in our space, doesn’t take up too much space but serves its purpose in style and does with our modern industrial decor. Read more

When I tell you that this Sputnik chandelier lit up my world, I mean it! After installation and screwing in the bulbs, I turned on the switch and bam!, the room was instantly transformed. There was light everywhere. I absolutely love it! If you do not like bright lights, this is definitely not the piece for you. Remember, there are 18 bulbs. It’s very simple, sometimes tedious, to put the light together. Just make sure you line each components, holes in sphere to the 18 stems, and not force them to screw. Patience.
