For what we need them for, they're great - they are not soft at all. We have washed them lots of times now, and the more they're washed the rougher they get, but it doesn't matter for our needs. I have been using Amazon for about a decade and order my entire life from it; at least 3x a week. This is probably my first, if not second review. TAKE THIS INTO HIGH CONSIDERATION. These are the absolute worst towels you will come across. I don’t care about the quality; I wasn’t expecting much at the price it’s at. I have washed & dried these 5 times back-to-back today and the material continues to release an insane amount of lint. I felt after the 5th wash that they’d be fine. I was grossly incorrect. When I started to dry off, I was covered in lint from head-to-toe. So much, it clogged my shower when I rinsed it off. SPEND THE EXTRA BUCKS ON DECENT TOWELS. Read more
